Franchise carry over

How do you move a franchise from 16 to 17 or 17 to 18?

Re: Franchise carry over

Carry over from 16 to 17 and than 17 to 18. So you will need 3 games.

Re: Franchise carry over

What I meant was, how do you do it from one game to the next. Is there a prompt? Do you just have to have a franchise save on the PS4? Can you share saves?

Re: Franchise carry over

In the main screen for Franchise it will have a list of options (like "Continue Franchise"). There is an option in the game like from 2017 that says "Continues MLB 16 franchise" and you select that to convert it to the new game.

Re: Franchise carry over

You need to upload your 17 game save to the Cloud first. Once you do that, it'll be available to continue on the next game.

You don't really need to even put it on Cloud. that was from going ps3 to ps4

Yeah I don't have anything on the cloud, it is all on the PS4 drive and I've been carrying over saves from 2014 on.

Yeah all you have to do us save the franchise like normal in the old game. Pop the new game in and go to load a franchise like normal but instead of clicking continue/load there is another option there that says "continue from MLB The Show XX". You just pick it and viola.

Super easy. The only caveat is that you have to be going in sequential order (you can't go from '15 to '18 directly, for example).
