While you're playing the game, the bar will show up on the screen pretty frequently, telling you what level you're on for both batting and pitching, and will make a chime when you move up to the next one.

Thanks. I don't believe I have this setting activated. Where can I check this?

You can change the difficulty in really any part of the game that you're in. From easy on up, and dynamic is in there with the rest. You can also change how frequently the difficulty goes up or down within the sliders.

I like to play on Veteran+, so I get it to that point, and then turn the slider all the way down to zero once I'm there.

I checked and see where the Updates section says when I hit a new level it will update me (instead of before each game). But the only thing I see in the game (Offline franchise) is the XP points after each inning. I do see different levels when I go to the accomplishment page. I'm going to check the sliders next. Thanks.

I was skeptical of it when it 1st came out, as I was afraid it wouldn't be balanced enough, to where it would be way to easy, but that's not the case, for me anyway, that may not be the case for everyone though.

For those who are younger and have good reaction time and quick reflexes its probably not for you, as it would be way to easy, but for us elderly its been a great addition, LOL.
Case my friend as an older (cough) elderly player at 56 I too, don't have the reflexes as I once did so dynamic is perfect for me too.

I use Dynamic Difficulty and thoroughly enjoy it, but if anyone has any qualms about a comeback code, the best way to alleviate any concerns of comebacks (either by you or against you), I suggest setting the slider at 1. The subtlety with the Dynamic slider set low spreads progression and regression so wide, you cannot perceive the changes nearly to the extent you can even with that slider set at default five.

Case hasn't posted on OS in almost 4 years, not sure he's going to see this.

I like to just find the right spot and freeze it at zero. I play on Veteran + for hitting and All Star + for pitching, with a lot of other sliders working as well. I feel that I get a game that gives a lot of variety in challenge based on how good the opponent is, the weather conditions and the umps, and that I'm generally rewarded for doing the right thing and punished for doing the wrong one. Its the best sports game I've ever played at being able to do that, and I've been playing them since the 80s.

Setting the sensitivity slider to 1 is interesting, I was on comp mode/HOF for both hitting and pitching, although it's very close to what I'm expecting from the game, I think going back to DD and your suggestion of sensitivity on 1 might be what I'm looking for.

I'll try this out tonight, thank you!
