Power outage?

My first game after the patch was against the Red Sox and Wright. I can never hit knuckleballers and only mustard 3 frustrating/lucky hits the whole game. I’m embarrassed to say I was late on a lot of slow knucklers..lol

Played another game in my other carry over franchise with the Rockies at coors against the D-Backs and combined 8 hrs were hit between me and the cpu (6 by me and 2 by he cpu). It could have been the coors field effect and the wind blowing out but I also went from Strike zone camera to Strike Zone 2 batting camera for that game.

Maybe change your hitting camera and see what happens.

Re: Power outage?

There has been ONE HR TOTAL between me and the CPU in about 10 games so far. I consider myself pretty good and my RTTS player that I've had since 14 or whenever has over 1200 HRs so it's not like I don't know how to hit them lol

Re: Power outage?

I've hit 7 in 6 games using directional hitting, I've hit the wall 3 times as well. A lot of times it comes down to utilizing the pull direction in a hitters count and timing up a mistake pitch.

I'm noticing this a bit to. It almost feels like since he patch the ball has a magnetic feel towards the fielders. Small sample size of course I have only played about 5 games since the patch.

Yeah the problem is the pulled hits that are fair are floating in the air like punted footballs. Before the patch the pulled balls that were fair felt like they had drive and weight to them.

Hitting camera is not the problem. I am still perfectly hitting balls with the same camera I was using before. The problem is the balls that I was driving and felt like they had weight to them before the patch, now feel floaty and have much more hang time.

8 HR in one game?!?! Jeeze is your team juicing? Lol....

Re: Power outage?

The CPU hits plenty of homers against me. I'm on HOF pitching difficulty at the moment (dynamic) so I've been missing some spots. CPU is unforgiving with those hangers. As for myself, I had a stretch of about 10 games where I could barely hit anything out of the infield. Turns out it was the batting camera. My timing was way off. I was rolling over and popping up everything. I gave Strike Zone 3 a try and it's perfect. I hit 5 homers with Oakland against Eovaldi last night. It was in a Minor League park mind you, but I feel like my timing is fixed and my stroke is back.

Re: Power outage?

I’m hitting plenty of homeruns. However, only two of them has come from someone other than Judge, Stanton, and Sanchez. Those were from Didi, and Walker, and were on veteran default. The CPU team has only hit 3 or 4 thru about 15 games. So that is a bit concerning. Pitching is still way easier than it needs to be.
