That's a nice list of commentary updates given we're into August now. I was expecting to see them add an acknowledgement in the commentary when I start warming somebody up in the bullpen - as per the CPU team - but I can live without it at this stage.

Nice update. Have normally given up on anything being added/fixed for franchise and rtts by now.



Would have been great if they could have fixed a few of the remaining presentation bugs, mainly the one for comments about players not getting any hits for the past month when spotlighted during the lineup screen. Sick of hearing how they should at least get one hit when falling out of bed.


Edit: Yeah RogerDodger that was another bug was hoping would be fixed. It was talked about during one of the streams so don't think it was a design choice not to show or comment on the players bullpen.

Well that is a pleasant surprise. The greatest sports game ever made just got even better.

And a shout out to SDS for either getting rid of or reducing the Judges chamber presentation in Yankee Stadium. It was constant and somewhere they patched it. I have not heard it in a long time (I am in August and did not hear to once in July). Wonder if they tuned the logic to trigger it only early in the season.

Will find out eventually.

Really happy to see those storylines updated. I do have Gary Sanchez in the Batting Title race and have Aaron Judge and Greg Bird in the HR title race.

Fun times.

Homerun distances returning.

It was funny, I could play a game or two and see homerun distances on each homerun. I could play a game or two and see homerun distances on say 1 of 3 homeruns hit. Then I could play a game or two and never see the homerun distances.

Didn't matter which theme either.

Anyways, glad this bug/issue was corrected.

I hope some of those OSD bugs were resolved when they flash opening lineups. At the very bottom where they highlight a player the stats are FUBAR showing BA. something like this:

BA 1.681 something stupid.

Or saying how bad they have been but showing a totally false stat like

Hitting .000 for the entire month which is false.

OSD bugs have plagued the game each cycle. Gotta point that out.

Will be playing later today so will check that as it is pretty consistent.

Hoping two other presentation issues were corrected:

1) There are times where the game flashes an overlay to show the starting pitcher comparison mid-way thru the game and instead of showing stats, it shows their bio.


2) As you get into your franchise the game will show an overlay for your minor league teams and someone who is playing well, but the stats and such are all jacked up and make no sense.

Acuna’s name being added, and the screaming brat in the crowd being removed, would make this patch a success for me.

I'm bummed.

Took an early lunch to come home and see the update.

Acuna is not in.
Soroka is not in.
Gleyber is not in.

I'm not sure what names were added, but pretty disappointing that arguably the two biggest rookies didn't get names added.

That stinks. What's the point in updating rookie names if you're going to leave out two of the biggest ones? I'm still waiting for them to update the first base coach to Eric Young, too. IMO, that should have been done in April. Very disappointed.

Yeah, I don't get it. I thought for sure Acuna and Gleyber would be in. Names don't appear when you go to edit audio. Just to be sure, I started an exhibition game and it was still "number 13" and "number 25" for them. And I triple checked that 1.13 is the version I'm on now.
