HDR on or Off?

I use balanced, no noticeable lag. Can you tell me the model of the TV please? I wanna check on some settings for you if you don't mind.

Also, did you set it to game mode and turn on HDR through the games options?

What do you mean “game mode”.?
Where are you talking ..within the game..show audio settings headphones sound ect...???

Game mode is one of the picture settings/modes on the TV itself. Like standard, vivid, movie, etc.

Didn’t know that I’ll have to find that on my tv...because that might make a difference because the HD setting for the Show is horrible ..washed out..ect

Ok, so your TV doesn't have very good input lag. In game mode in 4K or 4K HDR the input lag is 54ms. That's getting to the point of very noticeable. That's what your issue is.

Your TV also doesn't do HDR very well. The best thing you can do is keep HDR off in the game and play at 1080p This is the "Faster" setting. Balanced being 1440p and Sharper being 4K.

If you play on faster, your input lag will be 34ms. Which is a bit high, but much better than the 54ms you are getting when trying to use HDR and 4K.

Thanks, I have played 2 games with HDR on sharpest setting. Lag bad on fastballs to which I have knocked it back 1 click, will see what happens next.
