They’re not hiding anything they’re just giving the top “notes” of all the changes in the patch, and they’re going to list the stuff they get the most complaints/feedback on.

Shouldn’t surprise anyone that every single note is related to DD or RTTS, even fixing the way some stadiums record certain hits is probably because of people bitching about a single being ruled an error when they need hits for a challenge.

Not to say they for sure fixed the DH glitch but there’s no proof they haven’t. Yet. Haha

Yeah, hopefully, but it's pretty depressing either way. Either they haven't fixed it, or they think fixing a game breaking franchise bug isn't worth mentioning. Neither is exactly great.

Given that the patch notes are about 15 lines long, you feel they really could have fit it in there if they'd done it (although it obviously isn't as important and sexy as "General UI text and spacing adjustment")

They did not fix it,. Downloaded and installed the patch, simmed a season and the Pitcher DH bug is still there

I would say it’s unbelievable, but sadly it’s not. Its just sad how much exactly that franchise mode gets absolutely no attention.

Call me paranoid but I think it's because they want us to stop playing franchise and go to diamond dynasty. I won't do that, I just won't buy another MLB The Show game again.

I don't think we're to that point, but I'm not calling you paranoid. When I visit the shownation forums it's pretty clear the majority of people there constitute a crowd we don't see here at all. Devs don't post here anymore, and all there attention is over there...the new features they decide to put in every year and their patch priorities tell us all we need to know.

ONE GUY...they have ONE GUY working on franchise-related issues every year (this is out of their own mouths)...so what can we really expect? This ship is going down...

It’s not a specific bug to franchise so those conspiracy theories can rest.

It effects play now, RTTS, and franchise.

Not sure if it effects other modes or not, but those three have been mentioned

A little confused at how the correction for exit velo with power hitters is only limited to DD?! You would think since it's an issue in DD, it would reflect in all modes? They finally made contact hitters useful this year, and then of course power hitters became "somewhat" flawed.

Well here's to hoping that fix somehow made it to my franchise.

on the stream Ramone went one further and said a lot of the gameplay stuff they patch is specific to only online DD. No idea why

Nice to see that SDS was able to make a minor fix for the Giants' video board. Ever since last year's game, the color scheme for the Giants batting order was darker than it was in real life.

However, this fix merely brings the in-game videobard up to date with last season's layout. I'm still hoping that the new layout for this season can get patched in, similar to what happened with the one from Coors Field last season.
