I agree. I think the best case scenario is a template of around 5 major league quality stadiums to choose from if there is in fact a full relocation option. But the pessimist in me also doesn’t see this as being an option, and instead we Are forced to play in default stadiums. In my opinion if the latter is the case instead of the former it will cheapen the feature and make it useless in franchise

I guess your guess is correct.  We are getting the diamond dynasty creation code added to franchise.  

I seriously doubt stadium builder but the good news is there are dozens of classic and created stadiums to choose from.

All our questions are going to be answered this Thursday and with that I believe we will have some generic stadium options to relocate to.

If not then the whole thing makes zero sense to me to implement. I don't think they (SDS) would do it half baked like that. So let's see what kind of stadium options we have.

In short I am glad this feature has finally made it's way into the game as it has been asked for by the community for well over a decade now. This will inspire me to do a relocation franchise for sure.

I hope we are pleasantly surprised with a deeper than expected customization suite for relocation.

While I am excited for the MLB side I really hope to be able to do the same in Franchise mode for the Minors    I think it be a blast to create minor teams as well.

I would say expansion is very unlikely for this year. Even more unlikely then a full stadium creator. It probably would’ve been part of the notes for that stream on the stream schedule we got. Expansion would be something big that they would want to show off and get out there to build excitement, like relocation was. All that’s confirmed though is relocation and rebranding. But until Thursday we can always still hope for expansion too.

Expansion would be a formula for disaster due to scheduling. Near zero chance of that.

I'm starting to think "change the location of your team" just means changing the name of your city. Like how the Angels went from the Anaheim Angels to the Los Angeles Angels. No real relocation, generic stadiums, or anything like that. Maybe we see that on PS5 next year.

The way they've revealed and worded this stuff just seems weird to me. If true relocation is in the game, I feel like it would've been a big part of the trailer.

I want relocation as much as anybody. I spend a ton of hours on NBA 2K and OOTP designing teams every year. My expectations are getting pretty low for this though. Hoping for a surprise though.

I'm as pessimistic as anyone, but there is zero chance they have the gall to add franchise relocation, but force you to play in another MLB teams stadium as is. With the announcers saying "Welcome to Philadelphia, home of the Phillies..." There is just no way. My prediction is pre-built stadiums, one that favor hitters, one that favor pitchers, etc. The blow away would be actually being able to create the stadiums.

Well it is. You'd just select that stadium before the game. That wouldn't be adding anything at all.
