MLB The Show 20 Features Multi-Season Custom Leagues with Customizable Settings

I’m just hoping they didn’t screw this up. If they force us to have a certain amount of players to play then that’s a massive failure. We should be able to start an online league with one other friend. For instance if I want to start a league with one friend and set the rest of the teams in the league to CPU I should be able to. That’s one of the things that made Online Franchise so incredible.

New coach video. It’s got a little bit more info.

Looks like all the custom settings and sliders are in.

Says you can edit the number of players, I assume that means User players not players on a team.

There’s a tab that says league type. And then show a playoff bracket so looks like maybe you can do a regular season or just a tournament with friends

And the biggest thing they showed which will be huge for some people, ability to use your Diamond Dynasty roster

I’m trying not to get my hopes up but this already seems like there’s more in it than I was expecting. Can’t wait for Thursday.

Oh just noticed a couple more things.
When they show the tournament bracket there’s only 1 username listed. So seems you can def have CPU teams.

When they show the player select screen on the Diamond Dynasth screen there’s a note at the top that says “Congratulations, your team has met the league requirements for your team”. So looks like you can set a cap on how crazy you’re allowed to make your DD team which is awesome!

Imagine OS run Diamond Dynasty tournaments with the max overall set at 80 or something. Damnit I’m starting to get psyched!

I do not think its YOUR DD roster.

To me it looked like you can assemble a DD team for the league, but it has restrictions as shown in the video. So many diamonds, golds, etc.

Because when the video was on DD rosters they had every player available. But who knows.

I think it would be fun if that was the case. Finish the season. Assemble a diff team.

It sounds like it is YOUR DD roster. The dialogue in the video said "You can even use your Diamond Dynasty collection".

Ahh hmm. Maybe the "user" just had every player available.

I hope that's not the case. Or at least give us the option to have the entire DD collection available and let us have restrictions on how many Diamonds, golds, etc we can use.

What a massive failure by Sony...

They aren’t letting us use custom rosters for the Online Leagues like they did in Online Franchise.

You can either choose from MLB Live rosters or DD rosters.

This was a very lazy job by Sony. Online Leagues should be taking steps forward instead of steps backward.
