No mention of CPU teams yet on the dev stream. I’d probably only want to play with 1 or 2 friends and fill the rest with the real CPU teams. Wish we had an option to invite a friend or two to the existing franchise mode. That’s all I really want.Last edited by jeffy777; 02-27-2020, 06:37 PM.Comment

It appears that this is a user-only mode (aside from the commish/anyone with permission being able to simulate games). Not going to work for anyone who was hoping for the old offline season mode experience.
Also it seems like the rosters of teams who aren't chosen by the users aren't going to be available, nor is there free agency. No offseason, the league goes straight from the end of postseason to the "forming" stage for the next one. That seems like a serious blind spot.
Pitcher energy is a thing in this mode.

Yeah, it looks like you are correct on all points.
4 man minimum isn’t great for me. I only have a couple friends who play The Show IRL and I really wouldn’t want to play with randoms so I’m a bit out of luck with this mode.
Looks cool for those who have a big group tho.Comment
