I think lighting is still good, but yeah, maybe a tad dark. Still looks great though atleast haha.

D.C. is especially bad. Half the stadium would need flashlights to leave their seats during a night game.

Definitely notice some stadiums at night are darker, but to me some during the day look so bright and washed out its hard to track a ball.

Noticed the lighting was a tad dark while playing a night game in Texas. I think the color overall is improved, but I'll be interested to see if this was by design or if it will be fixed by a patch.

Re: Lighting - Too Dark?

I haven't really noticed the darker lighting myself, though I haven't played in every ballpark yet. I did have to disable HDR on my PS5 because it was making everything look too dark/washed out. HDR seems to be a hit or miss depending on the TV/monitor you're using.

For all the complaints been made over player models (and rightfully so), I do believe SDS has done a wonderful job with the stadiums and environments overall.

Lighting looks the same to me, which might at least rule out it being console-specific difference.

Not sure if it’s a bug or design choice though, because while I like the look of the darker crowd lights, sometimes you get stuff like closed roof Miami night games that does not look intentional. Blown out highlights are not really this studio’s style.

Having flash back of MLB 14 when it came out on the ps4, it had the same issue as I recall and i believe they had to patch it.
