Hey Everyone!

The BFL Elite online 2k franchise league is back! I took a few years off while attaining my Masters degree, but now I'm bringing back our longtime league that's been going on since 2012! We do have a lot of rules, but it helps with the overall experience and playability of the franchise, not to mention they help with competitive balance.

Below are some of the settings and rules we use:

Time:* 8 minute quarters
Flex Schedule
Teams:* Fantasy draft using modern NBA Rosters
Free Agency:* On and open in-season
Salary Cap: On
Max Seasons: At least 5 continuous before a reset.
Weekly Commitment: 6 games
In-season Development: Awarded based on activity (games played)
System: Xbox Series X/PS5
Difficulty: HOF
On-ball Defense: REQUIRED
Current teams selected: 29/30

Draft date: 10/15/2023 1PM EST - COMPLETED

3 week regular season

We currently have 20 team owners in the league. Still missing 6 team owners who are assigned teams but haven't joined the league yet.

Celtics
Pacers
Suns
Spurs
Wizards
Nuggets

If these teams are unclaimed by 12 noon, they will go back into the pool for selection.

We technically only have 4 "open" teams remaining.

Pelicans, Rockets, Heat, and Pistons

Our regs fantasy draft kicks off today at 1pm, that's just over 2 hours from now!

We are still looking for one more user who wants to go the entire 2k24 cycle in a league. That's just how we roll and we keep it active.

We are sitting at 29/30 users currently with the only open team being the Spurs with a fantasy drafted roster.
