Shouldn’t we have gotten an official roster update by now?

I understand that the season hasn’t started, but there are several issues with the current roster that can be addressed quickly before the season even begins.

Why can’t the missing Two-Way players (Kyle Guy, Marial Shayok, Devon Hall and many more) be added to the roster before the season? All of these guys are officially signed. Other officially signed Two-Way players (Bol Bol, etc.) are already in the game.

Other issues are primarily tied to signature animations for rookies. Ja Morant should not have identical signatures to DeAaron Fox. Same thing goes for Ty Jerome having identical signatures to Malcolm Brogdon. This is an issue with other rookies as well.

If any 2K devs or anyone in the know see this, I’m sure the community would love some clarification. Many of us are waiting to start MyLEAGUE or MyCAREER for an official roster that includes the missing players and fixes glitches. I don’t see why we have to wait until mid October for that.

I’ll definitely make sure to download it and check it out. However, we still need an official roster update to get the guys with their face scans in the game. I know for a fact that face scan data is in the files for several Two-Way players that have officially signed.

I only play MyLeague and the game is pointless to buy until the season starts and the fix the rosters tbh.

It’s true. I think I’ll probably be waiting until the season starts in future years. Plus by that time there will be a bunch of draft classes available and all the bugs with the game should be ironed out. Might be able to get a deal on the game as well.

This is why I didn’t understand the game coming out super early. I knew the roster update would take forever.

September 6? I mean football hadn’t even started yet. Let alone NBA.

Basically, all guys that got drafted got face scans and even some undrafted guys got scanned. Their scans are present in the files of the game. For some reason, the initial 2K roster doesn’t include all the Two-Way players, but once they put them in (I’m assuming that’ll be on opening night or the day after) they SHOULD have face scans.

That's what I want to know too. I am waiting for it's release so I can start editing it and then start MyLeague.

Anyone else thinking the default roster is massively flawed anyway?

From tendencies to attributes to rotations to play assignments it's a bit of a mess. We pay good money for a game that has to be modified by the community to make it remotely playable for more 'sim' type players.
