Okay so an offline user, just looking to play the NBA portion of NBA 2K25, which option would be best? I have no ego, I’m just trying to enjoy the game. I’m confused with all of this pure green window and other stuff. I want to be able to make shots without having to always get a green release.

But I've never gotten a green timing on Low Risk that didn't result in a bucket.

2) Normal Risk will hardly ever make Slightly Early/Slightly Late shots. You have to be extremely close to green timing in order to make those "white" shots.

3) Low Risk is for anyone looking for an experience that is essentially "Real Player % if my timing is close-ish, and a guaranteed bucket if my timing is perfect". Normal Risk is more of a "Guaranteed miss if my timing is only close-ish, Real Player % if my timing is close to perfect, and a guaranteed make if my timing is perfect" experience.

The best experience depends on how much a person wants their timing to matter.

Yes. If you perfectly time it, then it will only be green 50 percent of the time on low and 60 percent on normal. I think this is the perfect setting, and most realistic way to do it.

Re: Who is still shooting on high risk? And why?

If you take open/ wide open shots with a high rating then low risk is a good option.

High risk is for when you have a low rating and still want to make shots.

A 75 3pnt then you need high risk.

A 95 3pnt then low risk is the better option if you take open shots

Basicially high risk values timing over coverage and ratings

Normal; ratings coverage and timing have the same value as in previous games

Low risk values ratings and coverage over timing.

Your shot selection should determine what to use….
