High risk is for when you have a low rating and still want to make shots.

A 75 3pnt then you need high risk.

A 95 3pnt then low risk is the better option if you take open shots

Basicially high risk values timing over coverage and ratings

Normal; ratings coverage and timing have the same value as in previous games

Low risk values ratings and coverage over timing.

Your shot selection should determine what to use….

Ok this is what I've figured. But this entire thread kept confusing my each and every post LMFAO.

I'm taking the same shots hitting both. I don't know anymore. I give them credit for trying to diversify skill and what kind of player you are. They also probably did this to add a layer to Zen defence movement.

Me going thru this thread

If true that's awesome IMO, makes me like Low Risk even better. I just like being able to slightly mistime a shot and have it still go in if it's a good shooter and/or wide open.

High risk has a 100 percent green window. Normal does not. That’s the key difference more than the green window size.

That is correct. Difficulty can affect window size, but it doesn’t affect pure green window versus non pure green window.

yea I dunno if I feel 2k labs 'science,' but I always will skew toward having shots I can make regardless. I think that's even truer this year for when you can actually get space and make shots that are actually contested.

It's not so much ego for me as it is highest potential. I know I'll figure it out.

I dunno if that's applied to lay ups as well? I haven't even done much jumper shooting and I haven't tried rhythm, but I assume it's like a golf game.

I’m using Low-Risk with Visual Meter and Feedback off for my personal SIM experience, I only play offline against the CPU.

With high risk i noticed there are no rattles amd bounces on the rim its more miss or swish but on difficulty based i get rattles and bounces and a lot more rim/ball physics which imo is the best addition this year compared to last year green swishes on all shots and i hated 2k24 for that.

Im still doubting on which option to choose and i need to test more maybe low risk reward or difficulty based because i want whites to go in also but most importantly i need that variety regarding rolls bounces and rattles

I see rolls and rim bounces on low risk. On a side note, I don’t see the appeal of seeing the arrow or any visual shot meter when shooting. I find that very distracting and just base the release of the shot stick or button on the player’s release point

Yeah I shoot high risk and it 100% has all those bounces….but it is determined by where you are in the green window

Re: Who is still shooting on high risk? And why?

Edge of the green window gives bounces on high risk.

If you green a shot on high risk , if aint a swish , you basicially lucky you are right at the edge.

Slightly late and slightly early is majority of the time a miss.
