Xbox doesn't do pro versions of their consoles. Microsoft consider the Series X their pro.Comment

Depends on how you look at it. A PS5 is 450, now I have better graphics, faster load times and twice the storage for 250. Will take my disc drive off my slim, switch plates and sell it. With that being said, this will be the first game I try outComment

The graphics upgrade will be negligible at best

Probably on this game but we’ll have to wait and see. Some games have major upgrades but I have the tv to support it and I’m going to enjoy every upgrade available. Definitely will hold me off from buying a PC that I know nothing about for a few yearsComment

Highly suggest a PC if you willing to drop $700+ on any piece of hardware. No amount of frame rate / resolution upgrades are going to justify the outdated courts, arenas, player models, etc that come with the console version of this game.Comment

Appreciate the suggestion but I’ll highly pass, especially looking at some of the player models in the photo thread by known pc users, not impressed at all. Don’t need one for a few games when I have a plethora of physical disc for Xbox and ps. The only reason I would get a pc in a few years is for the shoe modding and madden, or maybe when they get ncaa. Other than that, I’m simple and more than satisfied with what we currently have and whatever the pro has to offer.Comment

Picking up my PS5 Pro from Best Buy when they open tomorrow. 2K hasn't given any details or mentioned that a patch has been released. I doubt we'll see any difference until then.Comment

Re: Ps5 pro version of NBA 2K25 confirmed
I'll never understand why OS isn't a predominantly PC-based community. Reddit I understand, since it's so MyPLAYER-centric, but the PC experience is almost totally geared towards the priorities of sim gamers (not just in terms of mods and add-ons/tools, but also within the default game, which on PC has greater save capacity and lack of 2K server tethering when editing a certain number of teams in franchise mode). I'd understand it if consoles were significantly cheaper, but they're super expensive now, and people are buying like 2 or 3 of 'em. If you add to that the cost of whatever one's home computer is, then one is basically getting the worst-performing, least-feature-rich version of the game for the same price as the best-performing, most-feature-rich version. Like, even if you want to play the game 100% without mods, you can fold your console expenses into your home computing expenses and play a better-performing and less restrictive version of the vanilla game. The console route just makes zero sense to me unless online MyPLAYER-based competition is a major part of why you play 2K.
