Hey All,

I apologize if there's already a thread for this, but I couldn't find one in this 2K15 next gen forum. I'm trying to compile a feature wish list from our fans specifically for MyGM in 2K15. I've already jotted down a lot of things that people have complained about in other threads, but I'm sure I've missed some so I figured I'd ask here.

Sign and trades.
3 team trades
Eliminate the use of VC in the mode.....or at the very least allow for vc for simming.......makes the game very unrealistic.
Relocation
Stretch provision..newest Cba
Veterans minimum
More customation
Online mygm
Bring back start now option to start season with correct stats and standings
Ability to set draft picks up for teams 3 years in future...ie give correct picks to correct teams that were traded.

Still have my fingers crossed that these get patched in, but here is what I miss:

1) Co-op in MYgm (users on same team)
2) Create a Player (ability to use created players in all game modes)
3) Abilty to earn VC in myGM mode when simming games (or make more features available without having to earn VC)

I originally posted this for CG, but I have looked over it and redone it after testing NG.

Player progression needs to be redone. After a couple seasons every team has numerous 90+ and 80+ rated players which means great players don't stand out, great teams don't stand out and most teams are around .500. This also leads to half the league looking for max contracts. Players all decline and hit their peaks at the exact same stage in their career's.

Players are handed out contracts depending on their overall and potential rating, instead of how they played during the preceeding season. A player who had 6 points on 45% shooting and played 10 minutes could get a max contract.

CPU teams all need to have distinct team building. The Bucks, Knicks and Thunder for example, all had very different way of building their team. What should happen is: Rebuilding teams should trade veterans for young assets and picks. Contending teams may be inclined to do the opposite. A season could be given up as a team sets up cap space for a big FA class etc. Or there could even be teams that perennially contend for 6-10 seeds because that's what their owners tell them to do.

Teams aren't given the correct draft picks. For example the Lakers have all their draft picks for the next 5 years even though in real life we have traded half of them away. You can't trade protected picks. You can't stash picks in Europe. You can't trade picks that are more than 2 years away. It would add to the experience if the Bulls were able to bring over guys like Nikola Mirotic, for example.

Bring the D-league back.

Player roles makes no sense. It's guaranteed that all players rated above 66 want to be a role player. All players rated above 72 want to be a starter. Players in real life who are sixth men such as JR Smith, Manu etc will never be set as sixth men by the CPU. They will always start. The CPU also generically assigns the same amount of minutes for the same rated players. For example a player will always be given 36 minutes if they are rated between 80-84. Add roles such as defensive or 3pt specialist.

*****(This is one issue that I haven't been able to test if it still exists in NG, so i apologize if it has already been fixed)***The salary cap randomly goes up by 2 million every year so in 10 seasons it will be set at 78 million (Its 58 million in real life).

80% of the leagues coaches are fired each season for no reason. All staff in the coaching pool is generic. I'm not sure if there is something else prohbiting the devs from adding this, but it would be great if coaches like SVG and Lionel Hollins were in the coaching pool.

Assist leaders rarely have over 9 a game. Rebound leaders rarely have over 10 a game. Scoring leaders rarely have over 25 a game. Team stats each season are really messed up compared to real life. Minutes leaders rarely have over 37 a game. MVP's are rarely given to the best player. Same with DPOY and MIP. The stats engine just has to have a bigger range of results. Also teams take way to many FTA and barely any 3FGA every season.

Why are we no longer able to have 3 team trades? I was actually hoping it would be expanded to allow 4 team trades, but it's gone in the other direction.

Players are never rested, matchups never change, and coaches never experiment with different lineups. In real life game to game players recieve different amounts of playing time depending on if they are playing well. In the Playoffs each series coaches should be using specific lineups depending on what type of team they are playing.

Every year in the playoffs you will have 6th and 8th seeds in the conference finals.

Teams in FA never overpay (or get players under market value) like they do in real life. There is always a generic amount that players recieve from teams.

When players suffer significant season ending injuries there are no consequences. They should automatically have their potential and/or durability lowered. Look what happened to Brandon Roy and Greg Oden.

Bring hoopcast back and allow the ability to intervene in a game in the 3rd or 4th quarter.

Add Summer League.

This was part of the CBA agreement, It is right but it should be reset at some point because it can't go up forever, and there should be a new CBA at some point during the 'Dynasty'

They should also add the Derrick Rose rule to the CBA in game.

It'd also be nice to have a guide to the CBA in game for people who don't understand it yet.

I've requested this for the past few years now ...

Allow the option to select season length (i.e., 14, 29, 56 & 82 games) for both MyCareer and GM mode.

I understand that that it takes out the 'realism' by shortening the season length but because I usually play 12 minute quarters, playing 82 games a season is such a gruelling & tiresome effort and it gets boring real quick. Furthermore I don't have as much time as others do so me completing all 82 games at 12 minute quarters within the span of a year is almost impossible. I understand that I can simulate games, but I am a stat-freak and I like to look at my player card at the end of the season and my accomplishments. It gives a sense of gratification knowing that my player card is 100% reflected upon by me and not by some simulated A.I.

Dave, first off thanks for coming here and listening to our input. A lot of guys around here have some great ideas and I'd love to see them implemented in 2k15.

I'm at work and don't have a ton of time, so I'm going to keep this short and to the point.. If I had to sum up what I want to see in NBA 2K15 with one word that word would be OPTIONS.

Personally, I'm already enjoying MyGm as is and I'm sure it will only get better once the 3rd patch hits. With that said I've seen many around here calling for the return of Association Mode. Which I think is fair, especially for those who like to mimic real life. However, if we had options in MyGM I think we could have the best of both worlds in one mode.

Options I would suggest would be like the ability to change season length, let us edit players (ratings, numbers and appearance) during MyGm, give us the capability to approve/veto CPU trades, allow us to reset someone's morale as we see fit, create a manual injury system so we can replicate real life easier, let us change our opponents uniforms (like we could in the past, etc.

One other thing I want to mention is what has been the #1 item on my 2k wishlist for years now and that is the ability to intervene in games. I have the request in more detail in the OP of the thread linked in Post #3 if this needs more explanation. Honestly, I don't have the time to play all 82 games with 12 minute quarters, plus the playoffs (if we make it). Therefore, if we had the ability to join simmed games or sim a game that we've started (and rejoin if need be), then that would be awesome.

Lastly, I'd love to see the D-League make a return and I'd like to see the new CBA included. I know that not many teams have their Amnesty left, however things like GM's not being about to trade players within six months of trading for them would be a nice addition.

Yeah, I knew I forgot something in my earlier post. An option for real life draft trades should be something that is included in all sports games today. Heck, I actually think it is in all sports games except 2K. In the past we were ably to rectify it will muti-team Association control, but there's no way with just one team control. Well at least not an easy way...

I'm also a Celtics fan and I'm hoping once we have updated rosters, a decent draft class and the third patch that I will be able to at least finagle a pick or two away from the Nets. Maybe I'll add Garnett and Pierce to the C's and Wallace to the Nets before starting MyGm, then trade them for one another and include some picks. Hopefully, I can get something to work out. It all depends on the cap situation I guess.

Yeah it would be great if someone at 2k could clarify this. Why leave out the real draft picks on their respective teams year after year? I just don't understand, it would be such a simple feature to implement. I guess it wasn't such a big deal when you could move them yourself once in an Association, but now since we are stuck with one team this isn't possible. And it really detracts from the experience.
