For anyone with the Error code CE-34878-0 issue, please try the following and provide feedback. Thanks.

If you have any equipment on that gives you attribute boosts, remove them from your MyPlayer and see if you can load MyCAREER without issue.

Trying to narrow down what is causing it.

Thanks but doesn't work for me.

Still crash just before the free throw practice in My Career
I'm in Europe , we don't have the patch yet but it wasn't supposed to fix this issue ?

I don't know if this is related but here is my problem right now. I'm on xbox one and I unplugged my xbox one to connect it to an extension cord with multiple outlets. Now after I replugged it in and put in 2k. The game just says 100% installed and won't play. When I click it I get a message saying "Sorry that didn't work for some reason. (0x80070002)". Has anyone come across this?

I get the error with any custom rosters while trying to start a MyGM

Tried your method, and it WORKED. But i had to remove all the gears i had on such as headbands,arm sleeves etc.

happened to me on "MyGM" & occurs when editing attributes (on roster pre-MyGM mode)

Wonder if it is related to a specific player or team.

I just had the crash playing Thunder vs. Blazers after half.

I just had the crash playing Thunder vs. Blazers after half.

Just experienced this for the first time EVER (pre and post patch) while I was playing a quick game against the Blazers. I've never had this error come up in any mode incluing My Player until now. I played against the Wolves earlier tonight with no problems. But when I played the Blazers, I got the error right after the halftime show.

Maybe there is something to the error being tied to a specific team??

Same for me, but I've been playing NBA Today with the Blazers since release and this is the first time its happened... Has to be related to the Blazers somehow.

Also had it happen during a play now "NBA Today" game after the halftime show.

Jazz@Lakers and then again Lakers @ Blazers.

So annoying!

Played about 3 games online vs my brother. Went to play NBA today afterwards, after halftime it crashed.

Pre-patch, had not happened to me before. PS4.

This method actually worked for me! I went into the dressing room and took all my gear off, which then allowed me to get into MyCareer without getting this error. But unforunately at the end of the game it crashed again with the same error. So then I decided to go back into the dressing room and re-equip all my gear and tried to play again and now MyCareer works again without crashing!

Something about editing one of your files seems to repair all your files on the cloud. Messing around with your MyPlayer, gear etc. I've had two MyCareers that wouldn't load end up working after fiddling around with stuff.

I don't play any of that My Stuff so it's irrelevant to me btw. Still had error last night. Gonna try again now
