Error Code CE-34878-0 Users, Try This and Provide Feedback

I was hoping that it was going to be team-related rather than patch-related, but it doesn't seem like that's the case.

I just got this last night playing N.B.A. Today, Pacers at Jazz, right after the halftime break. I've had no problems at all in any of the modes I played until now, post-patch.

I wish 2K only had gameplay issues, but it seems like they also add really slow roster updates and actual functionality problems to their list every year. (I understand that roster updates is neither here nor there right now, but every day updates was a promised feature.)

So at least we all know it's related to something in NBA Today displaying at the half. These posts help the developers single it out now and resolve.

Mine actually happened with Lakers vs. Jazz.. I'm no longer getting this bug though, but I couldn't tell you why.

Is this error code when it just takes you to xbox home? Because it occurs after the first possession of the Rookie Sophomore game.

Just made a Center put in the 40k i actually earned into him after he got drafted and here comes the error...smh i want to throw the game and console out at this point with all this crap thats happening

Quoting my original post because I think I fell onto something. So I just attempted to play some more right now and it's bugged again. Every single time I've gotten the CE-34878-0 error in My Career, it's happened when I had a game in Los Angeles. I freezes up when it says "Heading to Los Angeles" at the bottom. This bug may very well be tied to Los Angeles because that's the only time I can replicate it.

EDIT: For the second time now, I've fixed my game by closing the application, reopening it, going to NBA Today and looking through the rosters. After that it works every single time.
