NBA2k15 New Mode?

So, as you all know Crew Mode has returned to last gen and everyone is asking well what about next gen. LD2k said in the live stream the dev's know what elements of crew we loved and that they have something in store for us. these elements are

• Simulation Basketball
  
  
• 5v5
  
  
• .Refs
  
  
• 4 quarters
  
  
• Non-blacktop setting (so most likely in an arena)
  
  
• you playing the position (assuming means you pick the correct position)

Now me I'm thinking they are coming up with a new mode or some sort. What do you guys think it will be?

Crew Mode will be done in the Park for next gen with all the elements you mentioned, if 2K were to have crews in the arena then park will probably be used for practice courts and such...

Bro, they ARE gonna close this thread because all the mods hate crew mode with such a passion, that the minute the WORD CREW is mentioned, they'll shut it down. I dont know, but these mods kill me with their holier than thou stances on what can and should be spoken on in here. i can understand if we were all flooding every thread with crew posts, but from what I've seen, people keep their posts where they belong. We need new mods seriously. I opened up a thread about bringing back crew mode for next gen, and it closed on account that crew mode returned....FOR LAST GEN. How is shutting down the one place we can speak about crew mode for ps4 and xbox one making any sense to to anyone? Clearly those of us who play 2k and are posting in NEXT GEN threads have adopted Next Gen systems. So why wouldn't we want to speak about and inquire about when and if crew mode, or a mode similar to crew mode is coming for the PS4 or Xbox one?

I digress...back to your point. There's no way that they release the crew mode everyone wants on last gen, and tell the folks who've gone out and spent $400-$500 bucks on a Next Gen system and say "by the way, since we're still trying to get familiar with NG technology, heres a barebones version of crew...It looks good, but you're still gonna have to play outdoors with cheesy EBC announcers and off the wall Space jam dunks and spam the steal button for thefts"

If anything, i believe we're getting news about The forgotten mode of draft combine.

possible DLC we can play early with our myplayers and the evolution of crew...but thats just my take on it...what do i know?

If it's outside why not bring back real courts like Run n Shoot, Venice, Rucker, The Cage etc...they used to have all these lol...or some modeled like these?? KD was involved and he does play there so here's to hoping but I doubt it...lol

You know how they have summer leagues that a lot of NBA players play in? Like during the lockout their was all those mixtapes of every star just crushing the competition?...

Imagine if they got like big name parks from every city, they got indoor gyms from like YMCA's and high schools, colleges, etc, and let you draft a team of players (maybe all below 75 overall)...and as you play through a "season" against all "Crews", maybe a month like thing, you can purchase and recruit better NBA players as role players/starters.

Then if your team has a qualifying record you go to a playoff system and maybe you win it all and get a permanent patch on your jersey or on your home court or something...idk, it kinda reminds me of NBA Street but with rules and sim sliders.

I'd be content with something like this, let's just hope the devs were as visionary.

Bro...our Crew thread was closed for whatever reason, okay we get that. So we're trying to make a thread to discuss what little information on whatever they have in-store for us on next gen here.

All of those (and there was more) were all taken from the first page of the next gen 2K forum, and are all speculation. None are discussing what we know about 15 because we know nothing.

We just want the same means to talk about our favorite mode like everyone else. We're not in their posts discussing our business. So why do you keep trying to derail our threads?

a crew mode in the park where it's simulation 5v5 and you have to buy your uniforms from the store with VC sounds like the mode we'll get. a bigger park with 6- 8 5v5 courts and you'll get your guys together, go out there and wait to play the winner from the previous match.

Turty, I know you won't do it,because this mode doesn't concern you, but go ahead and open a new thread concerning crew mode for next gen and see what happens within 24 hours. We don't make this stuff up. Its almost as if the mods on here favor association mode, classic teams, create a legend mode, quick match mode and MyGm mode over crew. I've yet to see One mod come into a crew thread and not bash it.

If LD2K wasn't as much a fan of competition and not part of our crew threads that I've had going these past couple years I know for sure our threads and accounts would have been banned or closed for "spamming about a mode that no longer exists".

I thought the whole point of coming on to a forum is to discuss what we are all passionate about? Seems pretty unfair if you ask me.

the reason crew mode threads get deleted like crazy, are because theres litteraly dozens of threads being made about crew mode. im sure theres one burried way back somewhere thats still open.

2-3 years of dozens of threads about a mode not in the game is annoying, not for the mods but for people trying to find other stuff in the 2k forums.

sure the mods may get strict at times, but if not OS would be looking like twitch stream chats

regardless, when crew or w/e they want to call it for NG is announced fear not, for a thread will remain open to discuss it.

is that an issue to discuss a mode? my bad anyways I would love to see like a myteam format for myplayer for us that would be very cool.

They kind of half to do a new story now, though, right?

Wouldn't it be kinda repetitive to have the same corny interactions all season again lol

I'd actually like no story if it can't be realistic honestly, 2K14 felt like a children's movie about two rivals making the NBA.
