Sim ahead to 4th quarter?

Is NBA2K finally going to be like other sports games and allow you to sim ahead in a game and then let you finish.
I don't have time to play 12 minute quarters so that I get realistic stats and scores.
The way they have it where you can play and then the cpu finishes the game is backwards, but also shows that the game can be simmed up until we want to take over so it seems like this is possible to put in.

Only the minutes are adjusted. The stats are left at whatever you got in X amount of minutes.

But seriously, I really wish there was any sort of sim intervention this year.

If it's like previous years and you do a sim to end of game it treats it based on whatever quarter length you're using. I played with 9 minute quarters and if I did a sim to end after the first quarter my team would generally score in the 45-50 point range over the final three quarters.

The feature mentioned in the OP is by biggest wishlist item. I love to play full seasons and play as much of every game as possible. It would be cool to be able to sim part of games and jump in during the 3rd or 4th quarter and finish the game out. It would make it way easier to make it through multiple seasons.

MLB2k9 had it for goodness sake.

NBA Live 08 even had it. It's boggled my mind how no basketball game since has done it. It's not like it can be hard to do if EA could do it in 07-08.

Great idea here, but I think cutting the game in half would probably be better.

Coming in at half time allows you to possibly recover from any deficit and still is a substantial amount of saved time since you could bypass the halftime show altogether. Overall more simulation options with the ability to jump in at anytime would be the end goal. Great idea overall especially when you want to play 12min quarters and 82 games. Even with all the time in the world it's still time better spent pushing through the grind of the season.

Sim to foruth quarter would be great. Or what if you could Sim games and play whatever ones you want? They also had this feature in college hoops 2k6 or 2k7. I don't get why they took it away.

The ability to super-sim games in the #1 item on my wishlist for NBA 2K. I'm really hoping that it's in... I would be happy even if we could intervene between quarters. Anything is better than nothing.

I seen in the article about MYGM today it is going to be possible to sim ahead/intervene and even pause and change strategies during games.
