NBA 2K15 Headband Edit Option petition

One of the members here got the game early and a question was asked if we could edit player's and add/remove a headband. Answer was no and Damian Lillard is wearing a headband for some odd reason.

If we can get as many posts in this thread to patch in EDIT HEADBAND, which isn't asking much at all, perhaps 2K will listen. This will affect roster makers who want to add in real rookies. Whay if a rookie from the 2015 draft has a headband? This is ridiculous. It was in LastGen.

I'm almost sure Lillard confirmed he would be wearing a headband this season.

But I agree, it should definitely be an editable option. 2K is giving us so many customization options this year, so why not headbands for the guys who care about it?

Strongly agree. Don't see why we cant add/remove headbands AND edit their color!

I agree, and it also kind of makes the home/away option not as exciting if I give Melo white sleeves at home but he still wears a blue or orange headband instead of a white one.

But its still early who's to say they dont already have an opening day patch to fix this issue.

I hope that this year there isn't the bug of the headbands.

Last year in myGM after a few games LBJ, Carter, Melo ecc ecc lost their bands.

Thanks for the source, 24th.

I always played with Deron Williams a certain way, since he arrived to the Nets, he started wearing a headband. He is my favorite point guard and player, so I always put a headband on him and a right calf sleeve. This year, again, I can't do that. I hope 2K reconsiders and fixes this problem.

I 100%, I hope you are able to at least add the option to edit the colour as I have the same issue with my pistons, where smith and drummonds head band have the wrong team colour as default and I cant change it

That's what I'm hoping. It was so frustrating last year to see guys without them and there was nothing we could do. With that said as much as I would like to have the ability to edit them, as long as there isn't a bug that removes them permanently, then I can live with that.

I love that they give us the home/away options but then the do something dumb like exclude headbands? Kind of takes away from how great that feature is.

While its not a game breaker for me, I am always for more user customization. If I want to change players numbers, accessories, even personal information, I should have that option. If Boris Diaw changes his name to "ComeBabyBaby BabyBabyComeCome" I should be able to make that change myself instead of having to wait for an update. If LeBron decides to drop that almost tobbogan sized head band then I should be able to do that instead of waiting for an update.

Hold. What? We still can't put headbands on people? Oh crap. Looks like when LeBron bolts from Cleveland in MyGM or someone wins an award the headband will go away again.

Agreed on the comments regarding the bug being fixed. I would settle for that I suppose.

I wonder if we will be able to add headbands to CAPs and rookie draft classes then, I would guess not?

Have you considered the possibility that due to the complex nature of NG head models accomodating custom headbands for every player is difficult to implement? That it may be overtly time consuming and thus less of a priority to the devs?
You don't really believe it is left out just out of spite, do you?
I mean, we're all (or mostly) adults...

I don't think anyone is claiming it was out of spite. They have added a ton back that we asked for last year so clearly there is no spite in play here. It is more a question of why they were able to have headband editing in last gen games but it has now disappeared for next gen.

Plus, If I remember correctly we can buy headbands for our MyPlayer, I can't imagine that is much different of a process to add one to that player model than an NBA player model. Specially given the fact that you would assume face scan for MyPlayer makes it more complex to add accessories onto the scan.

I don't think its game breaking by any stretch of the imagination, its more of a "ahh cmon man, why couldn't you just add that back in" kind of things for me.
