Why on earth did they remove the "save in game" feature?

That was on 2k11, 2k12 and 2k13? Was it not popular or something? Being able to save a game in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th quarter was an amazing feature to have. you never know when something props up, in the real world.

Mine lets me save, ps4....don't know why yours won't, you have to quit game from pause menu, then it shows save and quit....

if it's there, fantastic. Are you 100% sure? I've played about 10 exhibtion games and I've only seen "quit". I must be losing it .Best news I've heard all day if this is true...

It's there for MyLeague games, but I don't think it is for Play Now games if that's what you're playing. It was the same way last year on PS4. I'm not sure about prior years.... Then again I've never really seen the point in saving Play Now games anyway.

It's not in MY GM for sure, and yes, it's for play now also. I play 12 minute quarters, and yes from time to time, I get an interruption. I got to to dinner, gotta take my daughter somewhere, something comes up, sometimes, it's just convenient. I have 2k13 and I played a single game over a period of 3 nights because I had the ability to play before bed. Now I can't on the ps4 or xbox1. It's just dumb to remove it in the first place.

You can't save and quit when shooting free throws or during time outs. But I guarantee it's in the game.

Yea it's in. Save and quit just isn't it's own menu option. You click quit and then a drop down menu shows up and you pick sim to end, quit, or save and quit
