I understand your frustrations, but even NBA players miss wide open shots. Steph Curry, Durant, etc... they all miss wide open looks on occasion. You won't make 100% of wide open shots.

I think he is talking about the fact that the release was labeled 'Excellent'.
I personally have never seen one of them miss. When it's excellent, I even hit the contested jumpers (on All-Star).

Tbh there is no middle ground I can see. Missing some makes it realistic, yet frustrating because you know your playing a game and making them all would have most of os uproar.

I have only had it happen in practice mode a couple times with Dirk. They probably give you like a 99% success rate on green excellent releases. So there is always that 1% chance that you will miss. I have played plenty of games and never seen that happen in game and still waiting on a tech.

Some shots like midrange open pull-ups I don't miss all game though . Who misses 7 out of 10 Open midrange pull up in the NBA?

Am I not taking enough contested shots? I'm not making a big deal out of it but It can be frustrating if you're already bricking and finally get a green release then it bricks too.

Then I pass to my wide open teammates and they brick all game literally lol just like the NBA I guess.

I made 8 threes consecutively with Wesley Matthews (all perfect) then on my ninth perfect it forced me to miss. This was in practice mode.
