Many players are noticing this from the MyLeague forum. I thought I would post this here as well since there hasn't been any indication or acknowledgment of the issue. The Player Regression in MyLeague has made the game mode unenjoyable for many people including myself. Many players will lose multiple points once they reach about age 27 and it just gets worse and worse from there on. As a result, after a few years into a franchise, all players age 27+ have their ratings reduced drastically and almost every team doesn't even have any veterans. In other words, there is literally no development in this mode, just regression. It really has been a game breaking thing for me as I mostly play Associations or in this year, MyLeague. Each year that goes by, almost every player age 26-27 and up is losing -2,-3,-4, even -5 points after every season. I've never had this problem in any other NBA 2K game except 2K15. I just hope 2K people are looking into this issue.

As far as I know the patch has already been submitted so unfortunately, if it is not in this patch we probably won't be getting a fix for it this year. Let's pray that they' have already addressed it.SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

This is the biggest issue in the whole game. Guys start to drop like 3 years to early and it is just about imposable for any one that is 30 to not get worse and even if a guy has a great season if he is 31 he is going to get worse. Guys at 30 in this game decline like a RB in the NFL at 30 and a NFL RB at 30 is more like a NBA player at 35. Just about any rule player who is 27-28 will suck in 2 years and just about any player who is 29-30 and an all star will be just a rule player at age 31-32.Comment

I have not experienced this yet myself because I am only about 30 games into my first season but this does need a fix. Now I don't even feel like playing myleague anymore after reading this. Hopefully they address this in the upcoming patch if not it should be soon if they want to keep longevity of this mode. Which sucks because the mode is really deep.Comment

. MyGm/MyLeague really look great and deep but this ruin this great experience and makes it really unplayable after a couple of years.

Yeah I am sure that MYGM and MYLEAGUE work the same way when it comes to this kind of stuff so I don't see how it could be different in MYGM.Comment

I'm so happy to see folks being vocal about this. My only fear is that we weren't vocal enough early on to get an actual adjustment in this patch.
Seriously, any adjustment would deepen the experience for me so much. Just a small adjustment to shooting/iq regression could work wonders. Hopefully something we'll see something mentioned in the 6 pages of bullet point patch notes.Comment

Next year/long term I've said and heard plenty on the subject in other threads, not going to repeat things here. This thread has a lot of great discussion on the matter: Do players develop based on production?
For 2k15 I think a small adjustment to make shooting/iq not follow the same rules for regression would make a difference. Regression won't be nearly as nuanced as it should be, but would do wonders for this year. Besides, it was supposed to be in the game to begin with.
In more of an immediate sense, though, I think I'm just going to keep yelling "it's broken, it's broken"
