Re: cannot connect to servers
It's kinda sad when these huge companies can be brought down by a DDOS attack that they were told was going to happen.
DDOSing is not some crazy cool hacker trick.
Total scumbags regardless. I hope they go after them.

Re: cannot connect to servers
This is starting to get on my tits. I just want to DL an OS roster.
I'm not someone who breaks down the moment something goes wrong but it's been like this for a minute now.
Microsoft got it sorted so I think it's reasonable to expect Sony to get their house in order on the problem.Comment

Re: cannot connect to servers
PSN still down for me at 7:00am in Orange County, CA. Absolutely no sign of life since Christmas morningComment

Re: cannot connect to servers
It's gonna continue to be down unless Sony and Microsoft upgrade their security on their servers. That's what the hacker group said. Whether that's the case, lets hope not.Comment

cannot connect to servers
PSN has been up though hard to log in to for quite a while. 2K servers are still down, no communication as to why.
I can totally see 2k going "oh look, PSN and Xb Live are down, lets cut costs and pull our servers down too since everyones dependant on those networks anyway". Man this christmas has sucked hard for gamers.
Wow. The "logic" some of you guys come with is just pure comedy.. The severs are not down. They are still unreachable due to PSN and XBL instability.
Actually, we were able to play digital download last night after waiting 15 minutes.
A DDoS is not necessarily about security. It's just flooding a server with countless requests. Think of it as a bank teller being occupied by thousands of ants before getting to you. Instead of realizing they are ants, the teller goes through the normal motions, taking up time.Last edited by Boilerbuzz; 12-26-2014, 01:13 PM.Comment

This. It's already stated that it's a DDoS attack, yet people are still trying to find another logic lol.Comment

Re: cannot connect to servers
Some of you are, others can't. I know myself and a few others still can't play any of our digitally downloaded games because we can't connect to the server to verify the license. So, when you speak, don't speak for everyone please.Comment

Re: cannot connect to servers
2k was actually the only digital game I could play last night until I completely signed off of PSN....
make sure your not in that 'limbo' mode that locks all of your digital games up...Comment

Re: cannot connect to servers
I currently can't play any of my digital games, or access Netflix, Hulu or the WWE Network. Some guys seem to not be having any trouble, while others can't access anything unless they have the physical disc.Comment

Re: cannot connect to servers
SMH, that sucks! That's exactly why nothing should be dependent on online....
Was just passing a long some advice someone gave me because that was my particular issue. I couldn't even play one of my disc games for a while.Comment

Re: cannot connect to servers
My only day off this week was Christmas and I wanted to enjoy myself. It's really not a big deal, just sort of a bummer lol.Comment

Re: cannot connect to servers
Honest question though: how does PSN and XBL instability cause 2k servers problems? Quick peek here shows all servers but PC as offline. I have at times been able to access all functions of PSN but not been able to access online features of NBA 2k15, and I'm curious whether XB1 users are able to connect now that XBL is up and running.Last edited by b0ck3n; 12-26-2014, 02:12 PM.Comment
