I'm surprised they have never implemented this. It would be a nice way to rest guys and make adjustments. Certainly not a big thing but it would add an element of emersion in the presentation.

Re: TV timeouts.
Yes I hope the back to back timeouts and substitution timeouts are fixed. It's really annoying when your team (in MyCareer) calls a timeout with less than a minute left in the quarter to sub you in. Also, the sub-in "cut-scene" is stupid and a time waster. That being said, it would be cool if you could do more when on the bench than watch the game. If you could interact with teammates a bit in a meaningful way it would be less of a skip opportunity.Comment

Re: TV timeouts.
I've always wanted to see it cut to commercials after a timeout. I don't think it's possible though but it would really add something to the presentation.

Would be funny if we could go to the announcers table in MyCareer when we're injured or on the bench

Re: TV timeouts.
There def should be something to do when your on the bench...Just having it there to skip is a waste of time. Why not just get rid of it all together?
Also yeah I would be skipping those timeout commercials..It would be easy thing for 2k to make some extra money though.Comment

Re: TV timeouts.
I agree! I am also surprised it's not been in already haha.
Just a timeout like any other (where the user can make subs, adjustments etc.).
Skip it, don't skip it, it'd be nice to have them just to add the extra dead ball.
I find I "waste" timeouts a lot just because of lack of dead balls sometimes.
Be nice to have these in to add a couple of extra dead balls by default.....Comment

Re: TV timeouts.
I like it.
Three angles that 2k can take:
(A) 2k can either have real ads or mini virtual commercials that run for about 30 seconds to 60 seconds to mimic me sitting at home enjoying the game on my big screen. Skippable for those that choose not to watch. Immediately after the commercial, the user will have 60 seconds to make any in game substitution or adjustments.
(B) Second angle. Camera stays inside the arena, but announcers talking about anything that they want, personal lives, what they had for dinner, lunch, what they're doing this weekend, how's the family. Or even better yet, the announcers probably talking about what type of adjustments each coach should make or anything related to what has already happened in the game, or what the fans should expect with the remainder of the game.
(C) Arena activities that usually occurs during real time outs. Dancers in the middle of the court. Chosen fan shooting 3 point or half court shots to win some type of prize. Cheerleaders throwing shirts or whatever prizes into the crowd. Fan interactions.

HA! Looks like he's thinking about that post-playing career.I've always wanted to see it cut to commercials after a timeout. I don't think it's possible though but it would really add something to the presentation.

I actually thought about A before. I always felt games, especially sports games, should sell ad space basically to cover up some production costs (maybe even reduce the importance of VC in anything outside of Myteam).I like it.

I've always wanted 2k to advertise up coming games. Mafia 3, WWE2K16, Xcom 2....you get the idea...
I do remember 2k updating the dornas with transformer movie ads.Comment

Re: TV timeouts.
In the MyCareer timeout the player should have full control of what his player does, we could go mess with the ref, walk to the other teams huddle (with a risk of a technical foul of course ), or we could go to a veretan when we're rookies or go mentor a young player in our later years.
