PS4 highlight reel >8min Quarters ?

For those that have the game have you noticed if the highlights work for quarters on 8min+ ??

Surely it can't be broken three years in a row.

I played on 12 min quarters PS4.

Broken, not active, doesn't show up, missing in action, however you want to put it, it's not there for 3 consecutive years.

EDIT: 2k most likely knew about this, which is probably why LD2k decided to go 6 minute quarters during their live stream. Just disappointed. Bought the PS4 for MLB the Show, I guess NBA2k end of game highlights is something I had to forgo.

This is Sony's fault, not 2K's.

Blame them for not allowing us to turn that stupid thing off.

How certain are we that it is the PS4 recording and storing footage that's the culprit? Time to put in a request to Sony to allow games to turn off this feature.

Your talking about signature highlights right? Where you go to the box score and hit triangle on a player?

They worked for me twice with 8 minute quarters, haven't tried anything after that. Weren't they broken for 6 minutes plus last year....I figured that meant they were fixed...

Would suck royally of not...

Damn I'm not going to say some overboard stuff about not buying because I 100% will but this is a big disappointment.

Take your half assed cheerleaders and get me some highlights.

Looking forward to another year of jamming with friends and talking about how whack it is with no highlights after every damn game.

We're actually referring to end of game highlights where the user doesn't have to press any buttons. They are suppose to trigger immediately after Shaq, Ernie, and Kenny talks about the Jordan Player of the Game.

On 12 minute quarters PS4, the screen stays on the image/screenshot for the Jordan Player of the Game. It doesn't show any of the player highlights afterwards like what you see below. I'll have to try the triangle button for individual player highlights, but I doubt that's going to work on 12 minute quarters either.

I think they were broken for 7-12 minute quarters of play.

They go hand in hand....at least that has been the case the last couple of years....if you didn't see the POTG, you likely weren't seeing the sig highlights either...

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but yes you will always see the Player of the Game (POTG) mentioned after every single game. You will definitely see the still frame for the POTG (i.e. Jonas Valacuinas), but on the PS4 higher minutes (8-12 I'm still testing) played, you don't get to see the highlights.

We still see a screen shot of the POTG always, but just no accompanying highlights on 8-12 minute quarters PS4.

Definitely disappointing.

1. That's not the issue it was already disproven in another thread.

2. No other sports game has this issue on ps4. Even Live on 12 minute quarters allows all the highlights. So.... what's so special about 2k?

You know what ... another thing that's giving me fits now is that I'm not even getting halftime highlights either.

For some reason, all it shows now is the condensed charted statistics, no highlights at all for halftime. 12 minute quarters PS4. Alright not sure what's going on. Does it mean I need to go out an get an XB1. Say it ain't so.

For some strange reason, no highlights for both halftime and end of game at all right now. I still see Shaq, Ernie and Kenny at the round table, but no highlights at all.

The very first game it worked for me, half-time and player of the game highlights. I had 8 minute quarters. Since then it has gone dead. No highlights of any sort for half-time or end game. I was really excited that it was fixed, now it seems like more of the same.

This is incredibly disappointing. They should have given us fair warning to at least soften the blow. I've been wanting this fixed for years now. That it is STILL broken...is the biggest stain on this game.
