How has your online experience been in NBA 2k16?

I have exclusively been a franchise guy for yrs. But considering the balance 2k16 seems to have, im planning on getting into MyPlayer for the first time since 2k10 and maybe even get some online play now games in.

The impressions thread is something i dont want to flood with questions, but before i take the leap, as i learn the controls, I want to know what the community has been seeing as far as consistency, lag and balance.

I've played a ton of park games and my connection has done really well. On Xbox one I still have yet to get into a successful Pro Am game with my squad.. really making me mad.

Just mentioned this in the Q&A thread, but it felt good. Still some lag, but compared to last year, its insanely better. Had fun D-ing people up with the Pacers (if only I could reliably hit the three with George on kickouts )

Haven't met any (good) cheeseheads yet so I won't even talk about defense. My connection though was spectacular considering it's usually pretty crappy (last year after December was brutal).

Online delay is still there. Driving me crazy on offense and defense. Sorry to say, but compared to offline there is a huge difference.

Finally decided to give it a try. I was the Kings against the Rockets. The guy wasn't too bad but of course he was James Harden heavy, but that's to be expected. My connection was wired with about 50 Mbps and it was actually pretty impressive.

I was giving dude a run for his money until the second half when he keyed in on cousins and no one could hit an open jumper.

Another issue I had was he was bombing passes so I switched my defense to half court press, this inexplicably led to a sequence of automated full court press is that he took advantage of time and time again. Is this a glitch because I made sure that my defensive play calling was on user.

Im 3-0 with the pistons.

Its a relief seeing contested or just dumb shots clank the rim

1st dude tried the 2k15 midrange glitch where he just back up a lil to get room and bricked repeatedly

Dont change the game for these scrubs man the game so far is perfect

Other than the park boosts being completely over powered for the ballers so all my friends joined them leaving me forced to be a baller it's been a lot of fun. I can't stand the fact that the boosts are so skewed tho as i would have loved to stay flyer.

played 4 my team games

Game 1, he raged quited and i got the L
Game 2. was really good. we both were learning the game still and he won by 3
Game 3 was a offballer and he was leaving people wide open and i kept missing. that loss is on me.
Game 4 i just rage quited. guy played Offball zone all 3 quarters b4 i left, yea, im not with that BS i even put the controller down to see if he would attack my guy who isnt moving with the ball.

nope he just stayed on the center watching the Game play for him. he also tried charge cheesing and etc. lol

im not trying to start a ANTI offball thing again, but its annoying.
