MYgm RELOCATION help?

Has anyone been able to successfully move a team? I am currently in my 4th year and have already 1 title and a starting five full of all stars... I keep getting shot down every year and my funds are only around 5 million a year to upgrade..

Can anyone please help me in how to fain more funds and to successfully move a team

What team are you and where are you trying to move?

As the 76'ers I was able to move on my 3rd year to Rutherford NJ (the only year I tried). My funds were low aswell and it was only rated like 2.6 stars. I think the only way to get funds is doing Owner goals...but I'm pretty sure you can relocate to the same place in following years..basically just upgrading it.

So you really have to sim a few seasons before you get approved? That sucks unless you plan on staying in the same location & just change the jerseys, logo, & court. I really wanted to move the Clippers out of LA in MyGm.

Are there teams that are easier to move than others? Any list of teams that you can move year one? Or is it strictly based on where you want to move them to? For example, will you be able to move any team to Seattle, but struggle to move them to Canada (don't have the game yet, not sure of actual locations)?

Both your current location and the location you're trying to move to matters. Moving from a big market (such as LA or NY) to a small market (Athens or Anchorage) will be harder than the other way around.

I'm trying to relocate Sacramento to Montreal.

No, we try to limit the VC stuff in MyGM.

The best thing to do is just complete all of your owner goals -- and try not to fail any, as those take away from your owner contribution bonus. Also, you'll want to upgrade the facilities that will matter more to other owners.
