After spending the last 3 years on the OP shelf it's good to see them on the bottom for once.

Sounds like an excuse for many to cry about the inability to make a SF so is tall and got handles like curry and shoots like bird.... And dunks like 2001 Vince Carter.... Can't forget that he rebounds like Shaq....

For those with all this SF gripe... Are you really that limited because of the caps.? Have you not tried to play to your strengths?

I just created a SF now over 75... And my Mc is just fine.. Avg 26,8,&4... I play home like I play Rudy Gay...

I dont try to break him down like curry or Kyrie because there isn't a SF in the league with handles like that....

I post only smaller guys

I make a lot of off ball moves which is actually the main ingredient to a SF as the 3rd wing

Just play to the strength

They don't have to be crazy fast or anything just a little buff.
I have a SF in my squad who only has a 73 shooting from 3 pointers . He has corner specialist , microwave , unfazed , swagger , closer, shot creator but not deadeye .and he's had the same release since launch. No lie He has one of the best shots I've seen in 2k16 so far . It's all about stick skills , getting good looks , and moving the ball. He's 6'9 balanced . I promise the opposing teams have no idea what his shooting ratings are . They probably think he's and outside 80+ shooter lol

im confused do people think everyone who makes a complaint about a SF is a cheeser or dont play ball? with my 88 rated SF @ pro am or the park i cant buy a shot. its really to the point where i just lead the fast break and do the other little things or go inside. im literally a decoy lmao. and i have the same shot and all 3 of my people

Re: 6'8 SF vs 6'8 SG video comparision

People on this forum think just because you can play well with a SF it means the position is fine.

Nobody has said you can't have good games.

Fact is SF is easily the weakest position right now.

Posters come in here saying "my friend does such and such"

Nobody cares.

You can look at the stat caps and realize the position is flawed.

Small a Forwards have low ball handling, speed, and shooting.

They literally excel at nothing.

When you can make Centers better than a Prime Shaq and Hakeem but your SF is relegated to an improved Luol Deng with a green light there is an issue.

Re: 6'8 SF vs 6'8 SG video comparision

You guys are just playing out of position make A SG guard then . SF role is a little bit of everything for the most part and play in the front court.

It's like this

PG - Fastest position . Best passing position
SG- best Shooters . best all around scorers
SF- jack of all trades/ guard any positions /tweeners
PF- more offensive big men ;better midrange game faster more athletic
C- best rebounders /post defenders

The game adjusts based off height anyway . As a 6'8 SG your secondary will be SF. As 6'11 PF your secondary will be Center and so forth. 6'2 SG will be a PG secondary. And whether you play park , pro am or mycareer sometimes you will play out of position . At 6'8 at the pro am you might end up being center lol it would help to have some post advantages then .

Re: 6'8 SF vs 6'8 SG video comparision

The problem was I had an 85 inside small forward. I made the mistake of making him 6'9.

His speed was only in the high 60's which was the main problem, because imo his low speed didn't justify his low shooting/ballhandling.

At max I got my 3 to a 69 I think. Which wasn't enough to shoot 50% of open looks (which is what I shoot, wide open only.)

It also plays in to how others' play in the park. They're all guards or bigmen. On my squad we have a center, so I matched up with smaller guards who can just spam dribbles or run around me and shoot midrange.

The thing with bigmen is they never show actual post skill. So there's no need for a sf to be able to defend the paint. Just be able to stop them from driving in for a dunk or getting an offensive board. Which I think a 2 can do just as well.

I've always made small forwards, it's my position. I just honestly think people forgot small forwards are supposed to be able to do everything on a court. It's not op, it's how they are. And especially in today's NBA, guys who are 6'8-6'10 can be just as fast and athletic as guards...I just don't see the point of making a short sf just to get better caps.

My 6'8 pf is just as fast, and can shoot as well. I never put points on playmaker so that's a wash. Inside scoring is better besides driving layups. And rebounding/defense is all better.
