You're flat out wrong on all those statements and I'm not sure why you're using PER. It's kind of a useless stat.

Let me clarify, if you want to argue those players had historic seasons, then by all means. But to dismiss Curry and say he is't in the conversation is wrong. He is likely at the top of the conversation.

Also, a really good video on why Steph is actually a good defender (especially considering the load he has on offense). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsKCyNvnt7k&feature=youtu.be

The problem is people just feel strong connections with their past and romanticize with them. It's where the "back in my day" stereotype comes from.

Because of that, Jordan, Wilt, and Oscar will always be untouchable.

So, no; he doesn't need an eleventh level.

There is no perfect player.

And he's a good defender, rebounder for his size/position, and a really good ball handler/passer.

Curry is not at the top of the conversation. You're stuck in the "what have you done for me recently?" mentality.

MJ averaged 35/5.5/5.9 with 3 SPG on 53.5% shooting. Oh and did you know he averaged 35 PPG while only making 7 threes all year? Not enough for you? He also won Defensive Player of the Year.

And that's just one of his seasons. As stated earlier, LeBron and Wilt have had better seasons too. This Curry lovefest needs to stop, he is a great offensive player but he is only average on defense and you should know that if you need to pull a YouTube video out of your *** to try and make your argument, you're probably wrong. If he was a good defender, he would get proper recognition. But he hasn't because he's average and nowhere near an elite defender, unlike the aforementioned players.

No & No, he's already enough overrated, just look at his speed and acc. All he needs to have in 2K17 is crazy long range and that's all, end of story.

the eye test tells me that Curry, this year, hands down is the best player. He's on another level-this year.
He's fluid on a daily basis. He's only had a handful of bad games this year.

He may not be Jordan, but he's having a Jordan type year.

every player has a chance of having that game where they are in th zone, But Curry this year has exceeded this,
he's definitely having a special year, and is worthy of a high rating

And that was a fantastic season, but I'd argue Curry's was better. Also not sure how making only 7 threes a year somehow makes it a better season. Just just means he wasn't as efficient as Curry scoring the basketball.

Also, you're trying to argue that I have to pull out a YouTube video to show he's a video somehow makes me wrong? Or does that mean you aren't actually watching him play defense? Did you even watch it?

I never said he was elite. I said he's a good defender. Jordan was the better defender, but Curry's the better offensive player.

It took everyone a long time to realize Ricky Rubio is an elite defender and that Westbrook kind of sucks on defense actually.

I KNEW this thread was going to turn into another Steph Curry debate fest. We just had a 63 page long thread of people bitching back and forth over Curry finally end and now we're starting up a new one? Please god, make it stop.
