Yeah I even prefer the character model 2k had before this most recent Shaq.

A lot of the classic player models haven't translated very well to 'next gen'.

As they can't be scanned, they won't be as accurate as the current day players.

What I've never understood though, is that pc modders make AMAZING legend cyberfaces without scanning, so why can't 2k step up in that department?

Anyhow, I know it's a cop out, but I'd rather a generic looking Shaq than no Shaq at all.

It's because they haven't taken the time to get it right. Sorry, as great as the game is, it's been 3 games now and the faces still look nothing like next-gen. Some are so wrong, it's like they are doing it on a purpose.

how is that a problem when they are using the exact same generic shaq on all all the classic teams? orlando shaq is the exact same one as the miami heat shaq. lol

Not sure what the problem is and why 2K can't get this right.

All you have to do is look at the pc community and some of the amazing legends cyberfaces they create and wonder why a company with tons of cash can't output models to rival that.

I know time and money are always an issue, but c'mon - this is what modders are doing:

That's interesting. Perhaps it literally is just a case of 2k focusing most of it's time with online and 'story' modes instead of spreading it more evenly with the legends teams, which sucks.

Sure seems that way, anyhow.
