What happened to illegal screens in park and Pro AM?

They fixed the game by adding them last year and now they are suddenly gone? And there is no defensive 3 seconds in the key either?

I thought this was supposed to be basketball?

Like I could understand if it was never implemented last year, so they didn't bother to add it in, but... It. Was. Already. In. The. Game.

And they... Manually took it out? Where does it end? Remove out of bounds? No shot clock? When does it cease to become actual basketball if you omit core rules?

Really strange and illogical decision.

I can somewhat get it in park.. They can make a case for that.. But in pro am? Nah. Illegal screens are so annoying they HAVE to patch it. I honestly can't see myself playing a whole cycle like this.

No illegal screens. It's not a call in this year's game anywhere.

I really hope if they intend to "patch it" they do it now. The game is an entirely different game with/without them.

At some point in 15, they were impossible to use. Any screen you set was a foul, you were better off not using them.

Then, they patched them in 15. And before patch 4, you can reliably set solid screens without fear of a foul call. But if you were egregious, you were called for the foul.

Then, they broke them again.

16. Again. they start with no illegal screens in the park. Super fun to play, and because everybody had defense and pick-dodger, you couldn't say anything about not being able to defend it.

16 in pro-am screens were worthless because you couldn't reliably set them without getting called for a foul.
