Are people seriously complaining about patches? I know the patches take a while to download but would people prefer no big long patches and a broken game instead? Not saying a game should have tons of issues at launch but no game is perfect at launch. Personally I love that pretty big patches are coming often to fix everything. I know not everyone feels the same way but as long as they get everything working and playing correctly by the time the real NBA season begins I'm fine with it.

Haha I have no idea how it downloads so fast. It said 20 minutes then I put the PS4 in rest mode & was done in 10 minutes. Really wanted some updated face scans but I know it's not the only thing that needed fixing.

So we basically game tested for them for a month. Where's my check lol.

And we are still testing...If they would have tested the shotmeter and be confident that it works he could tweet "Shotmeter fixed" but no, he says tell us if its still glitching...yeah well do...for sure.

What was wrong with the shot meter?

I don't have the game, but I believe it was "snapping back" in online play. And that was being caused by a bug, rather than lag.

I'm not sure why people exactly complaining about
a new patch being released, but for me, like in every
other game i'm always excited for new patches, can't
get them soon enough.

And for MyCareer players this shouldn't be a suprise because
the mode is pretty messed up. Not gonna list all the things
that don't work correctly in this mode because it would probably
take hours to write everything down but i'm just hoping they
really fixed most of it.

But guys, dont mix up complaints with constructive criticism,
2K is not only getting our money for buying the actual game,
people are buying VC the whole year every year, this year
we even have historic teams in form of DLC, so there is nothing
wrong with letting 2K know that their players expect them to at least
care and try to satisfy those who are putting money and countless
hours into the game. 2K is not a charity organization, they want
us to buy VC all year so it's only fair that in return we want them
to fix AND improve the game all year.

So let's just hope the new patch will do exactly that!

That alone is proof that consumers are never satisfied nowadays. 2k used to take until mid November before we got a significant gameplay patch. Now they release 4 in one month and people are complaining?

I personally like when a game company is responsive and quickly fixes a problem. Before anyone says "Why didnt they fix those issues before release"....no game is perfect at release. Every sports game ever released has needed patches to fix games.

Also, some connections still don't get scheduled on the calendar after accepting them. Just tested this as well

And most people would agree with you...

However you'd be doing your fellow 2K players a disservice if you didn't factor in a couple of their situations regarding internet such as...

People who only have access to internet with data caps... 7 gb patches every other week make this near impossible for them...

People who have low mbits / sec for their download speed but good latency for gaming... (Under 90 ms ping but crap download speed)

I understand other peoples struggle with these patches because I had data limits for a long time... I don't think anyone is complaining about 2K patching... I most certainly am not... As a matter of fact I salute 2K for being on top of it this year with patches... I don't remember a time when they patched this quickly but 7gb each time for minor tweaks is very difficult for 2K players with internet difficulties...

Offensive POE (Play Through, Share the Ball, Get Shooters Open, etc.) still NOT saving for me when I view it at timeout screen post-patch.
