Just had that happen. Was out of town and played some my league offline. Came back, the topic happened? And all my saves are gone. Put a decent amount of time into that myleague. Has this happened to anyone?

Sucks and nope, but curious if you have multiple saves of the same myleague.

I believe there are five available slots for saves. Did you use up all five available slots, sort of like saving the same exact microsoft word document or adobe photoshop file five separate times (i.e. word1, word2, word3, word4, word5, photoshop1, photoshop2, photoshop3, photoshop4, photoshop5 ... in case anything happens to one of the saved copies, you've got 4 additional backup ready at one's disposal.)

Wow that sucks. I'm a little concerned for my file, I recently added a ton of new nike uniforms and arena updates for the 2017/2018 season and the last two games I've played it started to lag really bad in the paused substitution area. Im afraid of that happening to me but I do have like 2 other backup files.

If you want to save the same myleague file twice you go into your existing myleague, choose save as, and choose a different slot. You can also rename any file, I've renamed mine outside of myleague in the myleague lobby where you choose what save you want to load. I Think its options button on the ps4.

I had like 4 saves. Every save is gone. It had me remake a MyPlayer like I had just installed the game. Terrible.

Had the same thing happen to me a couple of days ago. I was out of town also and just wanted to continue my offline franchise and I get that message. I re-created my player and received the message again and it prompted me to re-re-create my player again. I did again and finally got prompted to the main menu where I was finally able to load my franchise (myleague)....albeit it was unnamed (it said "no information available for this file" or something like that)....but I was able to still load it.

I did find this online, but haven't tried it since I was able to load my franchise.

This is frustrating.....I don't play online or anything and I just want to simply play my games offline without having to update anything.

Good to know hope it prompts me. I restarted the game though and still nothing when I tried it a few days ago.

Well I have been in touch with 2k support for nearly 3 weeks now. Saving and loading anything has been a disaster for me. I have tried about 20 different fixes as suggested by 2 k. Some of the main problems I have are:

Autosave doesnt really work, file disappears in save file menu.

A few times i have had the no info on save file or save file is corrupt.

Save and save as has a similar effect.

Cant save rosters or draft classes.

Also cant download team designs.

For some reason, I can use myteam, and it saves with no problems.

I am terrifed to go near the my career files I have, as I have used approx 100k hard earned vc on.

As of nearly 3 weeks, I can't progress any of my save files.

Some of the fixes i have tried:
Reinstalling steam - Twice
Reinstalling NBA 2K17 - Twice
Verifying files -10 times
Verifying 2k account and email - 5 plus times.
Running game as admin - 10 plus times.
Defragmenting systems and files, sfc scans etc etc.

Any yet NBA 2K16 and NBA 2K14 work perfectly for me with same 2k account!!

My saves showed up. Said no info on them but they where there.

Have you found the solution yet? I'm experiencing the same since 2k17 up to 2k18... Nonetheless I can save with 4 expansion teams maximum and with maximum one save slot. If you know the answer please reply, cause I'm so frustrated. Prepared 6 expansion teams with full graphics and can't use them....

I lost all my files by going out of town and trying to use my NBA 2K17 on my brother's XBox. I was wondering if it was safe to ever try to play using my own profile anywhere but home this year. It appears not.
