I think he was the same last year. He didn't play so that's about right until his play either raises or lowers it.

Your saying he should be lower? Joel was the most dominate thing on the Sixers. He would win rookie of the year if he didn't get hurt. And the best thing. He only played 25 minutes a game.

But on subject here. Ben's got no give here. He should of played in summer league this year.

Your saying he should be lower? Joel was the most dominate thing on the Sixers. He would win rookie of the year if he didn't get hurt. And the best thing. He only played 25 minutes a game.

I could be the most dominant thing on the Sixers if given the chance 😑. In all seriousness, yes, I definitely think his rating should be down. That would put in near/on par with Wiggins and Towns, and I don't see him being that polished. Wiggins isn't the most efficient scorer but he can put it in the hole. Town's a beast. What are those 2 ratings?

Edit: Saw that Towns is gonna be a 91 up from 89 last year. Still don't think Embiid is 3 points away from being a player who avg. 25pts and 12rebs. Sorry.

He'll be OP on the default roster if his ratings/tendencies are the same. He played like a young LeBron James doing all types of athletic dunks, passing, driving and, yes, making perimeter shots.

He was a perfect example of why I complain about the default roster so much.

I think Simmons is the fourth best young player (max) on the 76ers right now. I have Embiid, Saric, and Fultz ahead of him. His rating is kind, I'd have dropped him to a 77 really.

I think he's gonna take everyone by surprise this year, people are sleeping on him. Think he's gonna run away with ROY despite the other young talent on their roster. I think he's going to be what people thought Lamar Odom was going to be but more athletic.

Simmons came in at an 80 last year and hasn't played a single minute. What was he expecting???

At this moment? Absolutely. Simmons was MIA last season and in summer league. He's all potential and he's got the upside to be a good player. I know how Saric fits into Philly's team, I can see where he plays next to Embiid and Fultz. Simmons, I'm not so sure: playing the three, without a consistent outside shot, he's not a threat. He profiles better to me as a point forward, but with Fultz there he's not going to see a ton of time starting in that role.

I think he'll do serious damage as a second unit leader at the one, but with the rest of the starters he'll have a more limited role and less of an opportunity to excel with his strengths, IMO.
