NBA 2K18 Same Player Portraits??

Portraits have never gotten updated via roster update or patch.

It’s crazy too because they were able to get Kyrie in a Celtics jersey for his portrait at the last minute but they couldn’t update anyone else’s. Granted he’s the cover athlete but it just shows that they certainly could have updated all the portraits.

Want to get even more annoyed by old player pictures?

Look at pictures of Jaylen Brown (Celtics) and Mario Hezonja (Magic) and pay attention to the jersey numbers in the pictures. Then look at their actual jersey numbers.

Drives me nuts because there isn't anything we can do to fix it.

Most of these pictures are 3 or 4 years old. With how often players change teams, numbers, hair styles it is crazy. If you don't want to take the time then make them all digital.

At least in previous years they had most of the rookies and some big name players that moved. They didn't do anything this year. Seeing 2014 Embiid in the old Sixers jersey bothers me so much.

Well said. I think about all of the time that is spent updating the audio/commentary, and pictures, which one would think is much easier/less time consuming to update, is completely ignored.

I just don't understand. How is this overlooked?

New player portraits in the latest Patch I believe. Haven't downloaded it yet though.

"Player action photos have been updated to include the players in their new uniforms."

Just checked - and there’s still ALOT of missing portraits that just show the in-game character (I.e Melo, George, Isaiah). Hope more will be patched.
