There just isn't a bunch of constant pushing back on the perimeter....maybe more of that should be allowed in Park play etc....but as far as 5 on 5 goes, help defense definitely needs to be a huge focus....

Definitely agree. Just give us more tools to counter. Help defense does help in pro am walk on . One problem with help defense in pro am though are the 5 out offenses. So a three pointer has just as high of success rate as layups . People can go 16/16 on threes . So a lower three percentage is well needed. Also in the half court setting chase down blocks are automatic fouls. Any block or vertical contest behind someone is a foul . I’m cool with that for low shot blockers. But lockdowns should be able to block that like Lebron . Force pickups in some of these situatioms.

If I’m STAYING with a guy while he is constantly forcing the turbo button for this animation give him an offensive foul. Don’t let him basically slide me to the basket . Especially If I beat him there.

Sometimes I know the animation is coming , cut the offensive player off and literally watch him turbo in place until 2k either slides me out the way or let him clip through me .

There's literally an animation where he loses the ball, it disconnects from his hands completely then ZIP right back).

I concur that NON finishing characters have NO business finishing like they do. Not everyone should just be able to equip "explosive" layup package and finish better. INCLUDING players on my friends list who have big men with glitched animations that had trouble making contact layup with the big men packages, regardless of ratings, but immediately saw a return from the glitch.

I'm tired of money shot animations. There's not even a comparison of my shooting percentages using shots I feel like I TIMED better. to when I equipped base 9 and feel like I butcher that release almost every time but it greens.

It's like this game is so twisted, everything's connected and it's ALL to please casuals. It's getting gross.
Agree here!

Hip-Riding animation isn't a problem itself, but it happens too much, too often, it shouldn't be so easy to trigger, yeah it seems as players IRL such as Harden get to the basket at will, but they have to put some moves, dribble, shake the defender, to blow by them, in 2K18 you can just press turbo and you will blow by the defender.

Help defense on the other hand, maybe online players are not aware of that, is terrible this year and needs a major tuning, bad pick and roll awereness, no help defense on a drive, not contesting the layups, on ball screens are too effective actually defense overall needs a huge upgrade, I feel like you have so many options on offense but there's lack of (effective) tools on defensive end.
