99 Under The Basket Tendency Bug: What is your workaround?

So I encountered the bug in a MyLeague Offline league where every player who do not go through Free Agency during the off-season see a massive jump to their Under The Basket tendency rating. Pretty much all of the jumps max out to 99. What are you guys doing for a work around assuming that there is one? Or are you guys just playing with the bug? Does it affect gameplay at all?

Playing MyLeague and mass editing tendencies.

After some testing by a user the difference in gameplay is not tangible. And sim stats aren't affected that much, but still a bit.

Hope they will fix it soon (and also the G-League bug please)

As I see it the only fix is to track the tendency for all FAs before the offseason, then edit back before the next season

So after Patch 6 where 2k claims the tendency bug is addressed, I retested to see if it is fixed. Unfortunately, I am still experiencing the bug for both a MyLeague save and a new file.


Can anyone else confirm? I am on Xbox1

What a joke of a company.
Between this bug, stats being ****ed and sometimes totally disappearing one year into myleague, Start today with ridiculous regression applied to every players + no all-star week.
The game has been out for longer than two months now and MyLeague still is absolutely unplayable for anyone wanting to somewhat replicate a NBA feel

Between this bug, stats being ****ed and sometimes totally disappearing one year into myleague, Start today with ridiculous regression applied to every players + no all-star week.
The game has been out for longer than two months now and MyLeague still is absolutely unplayable for anyone wanting to somewhat replicate a NBA feel

And the G-League bug, where 60 OVR players surpass their potential and become 80 OVR in 2 seasons...

Still there. But it doesn't effect a lot sim stats or gameplay.

I'm on PC so patch hasn't hit us yet. Can you test a new MyLeague save with a new official 2k roster save?


I saw that a lot of previous bugs were tied to my old roster/draft class saves.

Tested for BOTH an OLD MyLeague save AND a NEW MyLeague save. Bug is still there which is BS since 2k claimed to have addressed in the latest patch notes.

That's crazy. I was ready to give my MyLeague another chance. This is now going on 3 months with a completely broken core game mode...

It would seem to me that a 99 for under the basket, would likely effect gameplay. It might not effect sim stats, considering the sim stats for PIP is way to low in ML, so a higher shooting under the basket may actually improve PIP being to low.

But gameplay wise, CPU controlled teams, would be trying to get shot at the rim, which would make for too many PIP in games played, and not enough 3pt attempts by the CPU.


Or I would think this would be the case, Im definitely not as knowledgable when it comes to how NBA2k tendency scale works, as others are, who get in depth in their editing of rosters. I just know, whoever 2k has doing the ratings, especially when it comes to tendencies is poorly done with many of the players, which is part of the reason why sim stats arent very accurate in a few areas. Plus the sim stat engine just needs a overhaul, because its been horrible for many yrs now.

It destroys the work of those who take the time to edit every player’s shot location in order to get accurate sim stats from the jump. Takes a lot of time to do so and to have it all completely erased in one offseason is beyond disappointing. Im kind of reaching the point of where i wish the game would take a year to stop adding stuff and refine what they already have.
