MyLeague's problems MUST be addressed to save the gamemode

The contracts and CPU cap management are completely broken. It's so bad I actually stopped playing the whole game three months ago. Meanwhile, I completely devoured 2K18's MyLeague, and if I feel like going back to a basketball game, I think it'll be 18 and not 19.

Among many of the issues is that star players always sign extensions and never hit free agency after the summer of 19. Star player movement (and all the speculation) makes the NBA tick. It's nowhere to be found in MyLeague.

But the contracts and CPU cap management are dreadful.

The Shot Under The Basket Tendency bug after the first year is beyond ridiculous. How that hasn't been fixed yet is mindboggling.

Certain players stats disappear in year two. People said to select auto generate draft class and stats won't disappear however some players still would a la Marcus Morris stats from 18 19 disappeared. Honestly they don't care about mode, they have it to please us but look at 2ks Twitter page that's where the focus is and will be. If my player had broken stuff like this it be fixed in a week.

I’m sitting here with a guy averaging 25+ ppg and 10+ apg while leading the league in steals and can’t even crack the All Star voting...I try not to use the override feature but I will on this one..it’s so annoying.

People are supposed to submit a ticket to 2K for any big issues. People rarely submit tickets for myleague issues so they dont get prioritized. That is part of the issue. Still some of these issue shouldn't be in the game.

The OP mentions an issue with awards but individual awards can be manually assigned.

The mode requires A TON of manual work to make it playable, that said, it is still quite enjoyable.

I really hope 2k comes big next year and supports the mode. Letting some of these bugs go this year has been concerning, they obviously are not going to fix anything at this point.

Also, something else I have been doing so #1 seeds don't get knocked out in the first round is putting injuries on some key players of the 8th seed.

Again, its odd to have to do that, but it helps with some of the crazy upsets.

Something i’ve been doing is setting all the 1 and 2 seeds to user control, putting on full automation, but lowering simulation difficulty. Works pretty well, but like you said, there’s no reason we should have to be doing stuff like this in the first place
