Authentic crowd atmosphere needs overhaul

yeah I wear headphones when I play end in live or other EA games there's a Fidelity and an authenticity to the sound.

not just the sound effects which include even more numerous and varied chants but a richness that feels like it fills the stadium whereas 2ks sound just feels like a generic roar with the same drum beat and chants over and over and the PA announcer is getting tired and worn out.

I really do hope they addressed it made it more aurally pleasing and would not mind a new PA announcer at all

Every year i hope they concentrate on details like atmosphere, crowd and overall presentation.it gets stale and boring in this area when buying every year NBA2k. improved atmosphere / presentation would add so much immersion and variety.

No news about this?

If I recall I think there were only 2 blogs about sound. When Harlan joined the team and the infamous blog about going to every arena to capture authentic ball bounce....

I doubt they did anything this year either. Most likely just added more arena sounds. I just wish they made the crowd sound more organic and not sounding like a buzz.

I hope 2K improves a bit in this area (I think they partially have especially during a playoff game). What’s funny to me is back around Live 10 and 2K10 I would play 2K more often cause it was the better game, but hop on Live because they had better looking shoes at the time and better arenas and crowds. Don’t know if anyone remembers but the all star game that year was in cowboys stadium and Live had the rights so it was in the game, 2K had the all star game in American Airlines lol.

Forget realistic sounds ... I just want the crowd to react correctly ... man this has never ever ever ever been right ever. It seems like the simplest logic to program I swear
