The placebo effect is real this year.

This is going to bring the inner conspiracy theorist out in 23, and I am here for it. I await his arrival to this thread.

I've been saying that I'm not sure why people keep using the "Day 1" game speed as the basis for the game speed changing.

The game isn't going to feel the same to you two weeks after playing it nonstop as it did on Day 1. On Day 1 you were coming from 2K19 which was a much faster game in comparison. By now you've adjusted to the game speed and are better on the sticks as a result.

It's literally the only possible answer.

That’s not the main issue. To me the real issue is that speed does not matter. Especially when the hip ride animation kicks in from behind you. They need to fix the speed threshold

Whatever Mike is classing as game speed might not have been changed. But something that directly affects the speed of player movement/animations has definitely been changed since day 1.

You only have to look at YouTube clips from a week or two ago to today to realise that.

Pretty much the same thing I’ve said.

The widespread panic caused an illusion.

This I definitely have a problem with.

Too many times I beat a defender only to have them get back in the play by forcing me into a contested layup animation.
