At default? I gotta test this out, cuz help D has really been screwing up for me too. And how do you mean the on ball D is better? Like your defender is more sticky or less sliding around or what?

Did you set defensive instructions? i.e gap/moderate off ball settings on certain players.

Because I am not seeing the same level of help from the CPU-controlled teams that seem to have everyone on tight coverage regardless of 3pt rating.

I don't know man, it's still bad if you ask me, players totally unaware od the ball, the player they are guarding. I mean, passes that go through in this game would be intercepted in a local pickup game, centers running away from the middle instead of guarding it. Dunno, I'll try putting on ball defense, hands, play passing lanes and defensive awareness at 100, will see what will happen

Yh I tried it out on default and the help D is still horrible imo. You'll get beat off a screen and dudes will just stand there like they don't see a guy driving to the rim smh. What exactly are your settings rob? Are you sure it's default help D strength at 50?

Meaning i can move my feet and stay in front of the ballhandler or move him to help. Mos realistic its ever been imo.

Gap. If you have your defenders huggin their man at the 3 they wont help.

I showed the clips. Every game my bigs are in gap and cloggin the paint with help defense. This is default hof with help defense at 35. If i gap and turn on help defense the paint is help defense from every where. Plus i have horrible defenders so it should be even better with avg defenders

Re: Saturday's update. Post Patch onball and help defense are extremely solid

Since this last update, this is definitely by far the best overall that gameplay has ever been. I even saw a couple blocking fouls, and in 1 game even. I havent saw a charge or a shooting foul on a 3pt attempt still, but I am seeing more fouls being called.
On ball and and Help D has both improved since this last patch. I actually held a team to well under 50% in PIP, and the best I had been able to do, till this last patch was right at 50% PIP.

Im happy with the gameplay, and I hope the devs leave it alone, and dont mess with it, like they always do, and screw things up. This is by far the most enjoyment I have had with a basketball game since, CH2k8.

Leave gameplay alone, and fix the issues in My League, and My GM.
