I'm referring to starting in myNBA to today's date... Like my league would allow you to start at today's date with the stats from the previous games.

I'm referring to starting in myNBA to today's date... Like my league would allow you to start at today's date with the stats from the previous games.

That mode would need a proper schedule and you won't have one in 2k21 until late February or early March, if one is going to be added at all.

I would bet it would be too difficult to program 72 games this year and 82 for the rest. Sounds simple enough but who knows what other bugs would come out of that.

Kenny Beecham (popular YouTuber known as KOT4Q) said he talked to Mike (assuming Mike Wang) and said that he put the word in to get “Start Today” working soon.

They could just put in the part of the schedule that's been released already and make the rest up. And the when the official second half schedule gets released, put that in. It's pretty simple. Not trying to bash, but anything less is basically being lazy.

Agreed but I don’t think it’s a lack of a schedule that’s the issue. I think it’s the fact that the schedule 1: starts later then the traditional footprint and 2: is of shorter duration. So programming it so that is reverts to an October start with 82 games in year 2 is likely the hang up. I agree completely that punting on this year when it comes to Start Today would be lazy. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if the dev team says it’s not worth the effort and testing required to get it done. Hopefully I’m wrong.

I think we can all agree here, is that we just need an answer from 2K, but they’ve been quiet... Either to say look it’s too hard to program the schedule in for this year’s game or hey guys it’s being worked on right now and should be available in say a week for example?
