Maybe he's just really unaware and good at the slide + release, but the shots he made after playing trashy at first, it seems like he flipped a switch or something hmm.

modded scripts doesn't work in the beginning especially against random people because they are manually adjusting the shot timing. Once they got the perfect release adjusted to the network speed delay they will hit the shot whenever they want until the end of the game.

I know this because back then i occasionally play against modded script cheaters in play now online, how i found it was when i changed my psn id i noticed some people who used to greenshot me from the start to end will struggle at the start because they are adjusting their parameters for their green shot scripts.. Most of the time they list the username and list how much delay they need for that certain person or if it's a new name they just manually adjust it like what happen to your game.

CronusMax most likely. It's rampant all over online gaming and only getting more and more popular. It's generally very obvious when people use it the whole time, so they like to switch it on and off at certain certain points to avoid getting reported.

It was generally used for first-person shooters, but with 2K turning into a sweat fest in recent years, your typical cheesers/cheaters have started to use it. A lot of the popular YouTubers use it as well.

woah, literally did not know this. Crazy. I thought either he decided to start using it or that it was due to contests/awful shots.

Edit 3!! Also, in a game where you pay real money to buy VC to juice your guy, I guess this is the next step. Awww mann. It sucks they are only 80 bucks or whatever. It's def not as bad as it was, apparently, but it's still pretty strong.

Zen/Strikepack...I've learned quite a bit about them recently, knowing someone who writes scripts.

You can run scripts right from the tip off tbh

There are scripts dating back to 2K18 tbh. This isn't a new thing.

It's gained more notoriety recently because of the implementation of the aiming mechanic...and the green makes of course.

Fortunately 2K has seemed to solve this in next gen...as far as 2K is concerned. Its not like you need it anyway.

yea I dono if they have it for ps5 YET. Haha, but it's hard to imagine how it wouldn't be coming in some form. The way to get rid of it would be like making the release not the same point every time? I dunno, stuff like this is depressing, and yea it's not new. People been doing shady stuff since the beginning... still, like the cackling joy of the dude who was shooting those 3s, it's sad. If they just started banning people, it would be better. You'd lose a lot.



That'd probably be the way to do it best, some sort of an 'advanced' anti-cheat script that would pick up what would only be possible on a mod control and flag it. Review the data of the player's recent games, ban some really egregious cases and everyone will chill on it.



But, once again... that shooting is the one part of 2k that you could use this with is pretty sad. It's not gonna help you do all of the other parts of the game, which are HARDER. So they just need to address it, and hopefully on ps5, it won't ever be a problem, cuz I'm prolly gonna be in it for 22. Maybe at least.



And yea I've seen many many more people. Anyone who is averaging like 25ppg in rec has one. Almost always. There are people who have them and don't have that, tho. Fun to stop them and watch them air ball a 90% contest, but in the end it doesn't stop that they have a huge advantage to make every shot esp from the corner.

I got you. Yea I'm not a huge conspiracy theorist or sore loser. I actually love to see people playing amazingly well. It's just rare. The 2k community is so low on IQ and general skills that it stands out when people are trash at every aspect of the game and then green every shot. lol. It's kind of like hmm ok.



Like in this game, that slasher and I were going IN. We should have won. We had some terrible people, but we outplayed them massively. We probably could have won if slasher was a bit more on point about where the ball was going, but he really had some good dribbles. I knew where he was gonna be able to take it every time. He didn't even know about Zen. He was on the mic telling me to 'just go up vs the cpu rim prot' I was like foh w/ that man you balled but don't say I didn't ball, too, don't be mad because they have modded controllers. And he's like what?? So I told him to look it up. He's like man that looks OP u must gotta be really trash to need that. It's like... yeah. But I mean we barely missed any shots, it's just they kept getting further and further ahead cuz 3 > 2. I had fun playing with a good player. Maybe not a super high bball IQ player, but someone who had real stick skills. At this point I can't even care about winning and losing, I'm trying to just enjoy the game.

Edit: and I'm with you, I think that stuff has to be on next gen, too. Dunno how. Bet it is. haha. It might not be 'as reliable', but supposedly they fixed CG to adjust for mod controls. That's WORKING WELL. If the device costs 70 or w/e... did you see the vid? Once one of the guys quit, dude was just jab stepping vs the cpu and then firing a three and greened it every time. That's pretty lucrative in a game where you pay for vc. It's def worth the money esp considering you can use it for multiple years.


Needs to be addressed... immediately (arnold voice.)
