pump fake, get the defender in the air, get a little close to the defender, then shoot....

Are you sure? Someone said something about using the stick to lean-in...but it wasn't confirmed.

In 2k7 to get the pump fake into foul to work you had to, get the defender in the air and then press the left stick toward the defender and the shoot with either the X-Button or the Right Stick... So Im guessing its the same thing this year.. I have not tried it yet with 2k9 because I didnt know that it was in again...

Anyone know how to do the pump fake into step forward under the defender's arm and do a jump shot like Kobe does? I have done it a few times on accident but have no idea how I've done it.

Actually nevermind, just figured it out myself. With dribble picked up, tap shot stick towards basket, then hold left stick towards basket and tap shot stick towards basket again.

Give and go: holding LT+RT pass it to who you want (A) then the person that passed it will cut to the hoop and have the A icon above their head so you just gotta hit pass again to give them the ball just figured this out on the demo
