The "this guy can't do that" team

So I have been getting abused by some of the most random players in NBA2k. The CPU uses them in ways no user can. Guys that make you say " he can't do that in real life", but in 2k is is an immortal. Here is my list, let me know whose on yours so I can watch out for them.

#1) Yi Jianlian~ consistantly averages 25-30ppg with 2-3 alley oop dunks a game. I like Yi, but 2k went too far with him. He's screaming at me on dunks, celebrating after 3's. He's like a mixture of Larry Bird and Keving Garnett. Truely amazing.

#2) Andrea Bargnani~ avgs about 20ppg 3blks 2-3 alley oops with 3-4 three pointers MADE per, has toned his game down a little from 2k9, but is still a problem child from game to game

#3)Tyson Chandler- 4-5blks per, 13-20reb, but where Tyson is truely amazing is his ability to shutdown ANY post player you send at him by using is SPEED and STRENGTH...yes strength

#4)Steph Curry~ 25-35ppg, 4 or 5 3pters made a game, I was warned about Curry through some of the guys on this site, but after he hit me with the double-nickel(yes 55) I took heed. His quick release and speed makes it nearly impossible to guard him

#5)JR. Smith ~ Last but not least, JR is good for 3pt attempts and if his J is slightly on, consider yourself burned. 30ppg easy. His leak out dunks and treys are a thing of beauty if you like being punched in the face. plus side is he can't D-up in the game

These are top 5. Guys who shouldn't be able to do what they do. Not including star players (85 and up).

Honorable mention goes out to: Terrance Williams, Kevin Martin, Eddy Curry, Andrew Bynum, Joakim Noah, Javel McGee, Thabo, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce combined, and the Bobcats defense.

Re: The "this guy can't do that" team

I've got my own list but first off, Ray Allen, Kevin Martin, and Paul Pierce don't really fit your list because they CAN go off. Martin is capable of going for 40 or 50 any night as is Pierce if he didn't have the talent he does. Allen can still shoot the lights out certain nights, so on the right night he can drain 9 or 10 threes.

    That said, my list:

    1. Tyrus Thomas. Good God this guy kills me. Last night he was playing for the cavs, signed as a FA in the offseason. He hit me for 17 points, 8 rebounds in 16 minutes. Thankfully he also had five fouls to limit the damage. This is not he first time. I've had him drop 20 plus on me several times and he always has a minimum of five offensive rebounds.

    2. Al Horford. He changes from a real life 10/10 guys to a 25/15 guy against me. I had the Hawks for a grueling 7 game playoff series and he just killed me game after game. Midrange jumpers, post moves, offensive rebounds, he just killed me.

    3. Luke Ridnour. Thankfully he plays backup minutes but he is much more aggressive in taking shots against me than in real life. He seems to always drop 2 or 3 threes on me in 15 minutes, plus an ungodly amount of assists and some drives.

    4. TJ Ford. When did this guy learn to shoot? My strategy is to sag off because, well he can't shoot. But in 2k he knocks down open shots, including threes and still finds his way into the lane.

    5. Jerryd Bayless: He seems insanely quick to me. Quicker than other pgs I try to cover. I struggle to keep him in front of me and he beats me down court for easy baskets and assists.

    6. Andrei Kirilenko: Hits way too many shots from the outside. Tough Defender too.

    7. Roy Hibbert: Much better post game than in real life

    8. Brendan Haywood: I don't get to see too many Wizard games. Is this guy really that consistent from 15-18 feet?

    9. Dwight Howard: Yep, I'm violating the rule I chastised the OP for doing. But man, Howard is good for 20/13 but against me, it is always more like 40 and 25. Not exaggerating. I cannot stop the guy.

I generally have surprise games from active, energetic big men who I underestimate. They tend to hit a few unexpected outside shots and kill me on the offensive glass (not my strong suit).

I'm with the OP on Yi. That guy just gave me a good what for, last night in a game i had against NJ. I slap a double team on him at the half, and hes passing out, hes rebounding like a mad man. Dude racked me for a triple double...stupid Yi! lol yeah that guy is at the top of my list...

I have to second this one. Al Horford's mid-range jumper changes the game when you play ATL. Your bigs can not help off of him because he is constantly on the baseline or top of the key waiting to nail that jumper. He also is a great offensive rebounder.

The reason why I put Pierce, Kevin Martin, and Ray Allen is because the way they score in 2k is not the way they score in real like.

Ray allen - the Celts switch him to PG during my season (I guess they don't like Eddie House) and for some reason his dribbling package allows him to shake my defenders and pull up for jumpers or drive to the basket. Not only that, his catch and release jumpers (while your guy is standing directly in front of him with a hand in his face) are falling at an unpresendented rate.
Pierce on the other hand seems to take on the role of Larry Bird when you play the Celts. While Paul is a decent 3 point shooter, he consistantly drains back 2 back 2 back 3 point shots on me with a hand in his face also. If he was hitting elbow fallaway jumpers while shooting 45% I'd been fine. But thats not the case.

Kevin Martin is the biggest cheeser of all of them. His shot release is nearly unguardable and while under control by the CPU he can shoot it in your face. The phrase "hand down, man down" should be added to the game just for Kevin. In real life, he's a slasher who draws fouls and uses that to create space for his jumper. In 2k he is a stone cold 3pt speacialist who can shoot your eye out. mind you, he's only a 77 in the game (i'm guessing because his defense is rated low, as he is a 25ppg scorer).

Andrea Bragnani: He kills me every game. I can't figure a way to stop him. He leaks out for mid-range shots and 3's, and then he plays down low with the low post moves of Patrick Ewing. It never fails, he puts up at least 20 on me game in and game out.

Now that I am thinking about it, the whole Raptors team gives me fits. I have played team twice in my association with the Bulls and each game they scored at least 115.

J.R is actually a REALLY REALLY skilled guy so in terms of the game he's an allstar.
Problem is, in reality basketball IQ matters, which J.R has absolutely non of it...

Heck yes. He absolutely torches me cuz he's quick enough to get past my PFs, got a good enough shot that I can't sag off, and if I put a SF on him, he can post up.

Come on guys, he consistently gets 16 - 17 pts in like 15 minutes off the bench, and dunks on my players like nothing.
He really gets on my nerves.

Tyson Chandler and Luis Scola always destroy me. Actually a lot of midrange shooting bigs do well against me because I like to roam with either the PF or C. Darius Songaila put up 23 on me with 12 shots. (And here I was thrilled that I had Jamison in foul trouble...)

I destroy with Jannero Pargo. Once you figure out his shot you need very little separation to rain threes.
