    post question

Anyone else having trouble backing down the d in the post? It doesn't seem to matter who I'm trying to post with, I'd say 70% of the time I initiate a post up, the offensive player starts to back down, then stops and can't back down the defense anymore. Any slider or attribute that may affect this?

Who are you backing down with and who is defending you?

      Are you playing the CPU?

        Re: post question

^^Also CPU likes to cheat sometime^^ lol

Guys like Shaq can back down anyone who doesn't have strength rating above 90. If you have two guys who are eqaul or close to equal. You might get one...maybe two back downs.

          Re: post question

It doesn't seem to matter who I'm using or who is guarding me. For example....I just tried numerous teams in post practice mode. Even Shaq (when posting up against any other player) gives a few bumps and then just stops moving. The L stick just loses its affect. I can't believe no one else has complained about this, unless I'm just late on noticing? Any help here?

Never had the problem. With Shaq you can back down the player underneath the rim. Never had the problem before...

I have the same problem. Shaq in his prime can't back down Nate Robinson. You can get one or two steps, but then it stops. I think 2k did this to make the game more "sim" so you can't abuse mismatches all game long. That's why I never complained about it; for fear of getting flamed for being a cheeser

i've experienced this too, doesn't really matter who i'm using and who is guarding me. it just stops a certain point. the computer on the other hand just abuses mismatches, they can back down almost anyone (even biggies like shaq).

Lower the CPU's Strength, raise the User's, or both.
