Its funny you say that... I use not tell them... But I tell them everything I learn about the game. But like Cavemen they don't listen. Great example, this year I told them how the play calling system was changed. And how you had to press L1 and then the players button to call plays quicker. This Cavemen still call plays by pressing right on the directional pad. The only excuse I heard from one of them that made sense . Was that he use the the D-pad only because they stilll have the quick plays menu there.

Yeah I found this out too, I could complete all of them except this one. I did it once but wasn't sure how I did it.

I thought that's what I was doing and it still didn't work, maybe it's a timing thing....?

And that answers that. Timing.

Put this question as number 1. I'd like to know this as well, it's crucial.

Ditto. Can't dunk just lay ups. Do I need to come in at different angles or something? I can't slam the ball at all.

What exactly is a "sig gather"?

Or better yet, what exactly is right stick passing?? Are there different passing modes? Which one is on by default?

I'm really enjoying it so far. Can't wait to learn more about all the moves to make my buddies **** themselves when I do a Gasol reverse on that ***.

I'm just kinda lost and the manual, while helpful a little bit, isn't very in depth.

Thanks Fellas in advance.

There are many video tutorials available here at OS and at youtube. Everything else is based on your creativity.

Follow the tutorial links in my signature below and you should find everything you need to know to get you going as it's discussed in detail.

Good luck

Re: NBA 2K11 Isomotion/Shot Stick Help (360)

Someone needs to make an in-depth tutorial on flick-flicks. They're easy to do but I feel like 90% of the time I do the same step through. I know they're based on ratings and the context of the situation but it seems a little bland. Everyone now and then I do a badass reverse pivot or Rondo-like ball fake and it looks amazing. I pay attention to how I do it (the Rondo one I got by RS fake away from the hoop and then RS towards the hoop) and try to replicate that with no luck.

Little OT but couldnt figure where to put this question. When calling a pick and roll can i choose which side the pick will be? Always seems to go wrong side.

Whats the difference between absolute and relative shot stick? I play in broadcast camera if that makes a difference, which is better?

From what I gather, Absolute = Left is always left no matter which camera angle you use. Relative is relative to the camera angle at the time.
Example, lets say you're directly under the basket, and the camera is at half court facing your back. Left would be left in this case, meaning if you were to move in that direction it would take you to the far side of the court....now, if the camera was on the sidline looking at you then left would actually be behind you, meaning if you move left you would actually be heading backwards. That is relative.

If that makes any sense at all.
