tried man to man going over the screen but then the big man just destroys my pg i tried going under and then he gets an easy 3 tried 2-3 zone too to stop the big man roll but he still gets it somehow

picks in this game are never spontaneous and tooo easy to spot coming a mile away

- go under as soon as u see it coming and the big gets lost
- manually switch and put the screener's man on the other side or under the pick, then switch back and defend

1. what team are you using?
2. are you online?

what i like to do mostly is:
go under, close out quick with your pg and double team with your big. if he manages to get it to his big then have one of your wings drop down to stop the drive and have either your pg/big to block a shot on the wings. (this whole plan is killed if your opponent is patient and waits for the big to get under the basket first. if he rushes and has his big catching the ball at the top of the free throw line, your golden.)

generally works pretty well with a team with good defensive awareness & if your help defence is high on the coach profiles. for the most part, it's better to do this against pg's that don't have crazy high pass ratings lol

I switch to the big and drop him below the foul line.

this works better if your bigs aren't mobile.

I thought you could while the game is loading and you hit edit lineup, then start again to defensive settings, you just scrolls over on the bumpers

i usually go over the screens and have good success doing that. it depends on who im playing though. i will go under if im not worried about the ball handlers jump shot. also, you always have to be ready to switch to the big man to protect the rim. you will get beat my pick and rolls, but you can stop it a good chunk of the time just by digging in and being focused. defense in general is just about being focused and on top of things. its all about reacting.

If the man guarding the ballhandler goes over the screen, man guarding screener should hedge and shadow the ballhandler until his teammate is back in position. After that, the man that was guarding the screener should quickly slide back to get his man while closing the passing lane also.


If the man guarding the ballhandler goes under the screen, it would be the same situation besides the fact the man guarding the screener may have to hedge/help out higher due to the fact his teammate likely will get partly screened.



Just remember if you're on defense and guarding it, go under if you want the ballhandler to shoot, go over if you want him to drive/force him to make a play.

You can manually hedge with your big man but have to be quick with it.

Have your big drop down to cover the rim, while the guard works around the pick.
